You can keep henna on anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour to overnight; the longer you leave it on, the better it will be. At festivals I typically recommend 30 minutes to an hour as well just because people are busy and active and having a good time and if you tell them to be VERY STILL and careful for like 8 hours at a festival they'll be quite annoyed!... (that would still be best, though.)
All very beautiful ,,,,Is any one can tell me how to make liquide henna which we use to put on Eid with chouriyaan shops, with wooden blocks designe I want to know if some one can tell me that recipes of that blooks mixtures..please( How to make Henna Ink )
@17I18 when i got mine at the fair the other day the lady said 2 keep it on for 30 min to 1 hour and then scrape it off, is that cuz its a different kind? or a stronger kind?
@msswift08 it does not matter if it is a different type of henna paste. the difference in time is merely personal preference. the longer it stays on, the richer the color. and the longer it will last... I do want to point out that the advice she game, to "scrape it off" is 100% incorrect. you do not want to scrape it off, as this can smear the tattoo. what you want to do is place the tattoo under gently running water and allow the paste to be rinsed away. also you do not want to use soap.
