It's not ok for many reasons and these people know it. Why pretend it's not happening if it is ok? Hunting dolphins and whales is ok but like all fishing, it has to stop when it gets to the "raping the ocean" stage, like with shark fin harvesting. Also, yes, there is a huge problem with the way cattle, pigs, etc are raised...it pollutes the water, pollutes other farms, is unnecessarily cruel and can be done much better if people weren't so wasteful. It's not ok for many reasons and these people know it. Why pretend it's not happening if it is ok? Hunting dolphins and whales is ok but like all fishing, it has to stop when it gets to the "raping the ocean" stage, like with shark fin harvesting. Also, yes, there is a huge problem with the way cattle, pigs, etc are raised...it pollutes the water, pollutes other farms, is unnecessarily cruel and can be done much better if people weren't so wasteful. Not to mention the mercury in dophins.
