Pleaso do not insert metallic objects into matcha :). neither in the powder nor in the ready beverage, my advice goes to everyone out there. There is a reason they use a bamboo whisk and not a metallic whisk. Enjoy! :)
@SuperPoliceState i get warned every time i buy it, they tell me not to insert metallic things into matcha, so i just help others get the best of matcha coz its worth it! i dont know the exact reason, but im sure i wouldnt get warned by everyone if there was no reason whatsoever. i can ask next time why they tell me and let you know why everyone is so big about it.
I just have witnessed two Chado ceremonies in the past couple of months and have been 'bitten by the Chado bug too! I got the bamboo whisk, whisk holder, tea scoop and matcha bowl and am so happy preparing it in the morning.
You look happy preparing it as well. Enjoying the matcha, and being able to be versitile when the blender funks out on you was great. And I love that you mixed up the seconds and minutes part and it was 'pasted in.' You did a happy, delightful presentation. Thank yoU!
Wow, just made this tonight for my boyfriend and it turned out so great! Thanks so much for the recipe. I used a cocktail shaker instead of a blender and agave nectar in place of sugar. Loved it and now I want MORE! Can't believe how frothy and creamy it came out.
Yikes... Angry comments. Do these people realize that there's multiple uses for green tea powder/matcha and there's no law saying that it's restricted to a traditional tea ceremony? Green tea mochi ice cream... Green tea latte... Green tea dango... Raise your hand if YT commenters know what dango even is...
You need to remake this video; too many goofs! But in response to all the negative comments, matcha is used now to make a wide variety of drinks, ice cream, cakes and even hand creams. I have a hand cream (expensive) made with matcha tea. . Yes you can drink it the traditional tea ceremony way too but matcha can be used as a flavoring in lots of things. And there are lots of grades of matcha too, some quite cheap. So know what you are talking about people before criticizing.
@ianspaintpot That's like saying there's only one kind of chicken sandwich...doesn't make sense at all. Besides, what's the point of telling me you're British? =p
Hey, i was wondering can you give me a brand name of a good matcha powder that is not too bitter. I know some are more bitter than the others. And also where I can buy them. I ma in Toronto.
Also, love the lipstic you have on. what is that one.
@richard1973 It's okay...you weren't invited anyways. Just kidding lol =p I know matcha can be consumed in various ways, and I just happen to like the fast food version of it the best...it's like drinkable green tea ice cream (okay...maybe not exactly that haha) =)
I got it at an Asian boutique in Rowland Heights (huge Asian community there). Honestly, I'm not even sure if it's a legit Hello Kitty ;p I'm pretty sure you'll be able to find one in Canada, too, if you look around =D
Haha ur welcome...I just can't believe my blender actually stopped working right when I decided to make a vid. "Any blender will work," but just not a broken one lol.
@gunmetal10 your inappropriate and immature... Grow up. YaYa! I love your videos! They are soo fun to watch :))!
