  • I think Rorschach is probably the most interesting but it's such a well thought out comic that all of the characters are interesting in their own way.

  • i thought u were a girl

  • Doctor is like Jesus lol.

  • where did you got the poster t-shirts and other stuff of Watchmen?

  • Poster of hellboy was a free-bee, some promotional thing, the marvel one was a gift, the watchmen I bought at a movie store and my shirt i bought in a movie store too

  • love the shirt. watchmen is the best thing ive ever read.

  • Thanks and thanks for watching

  • how mature is the content?

  • I'd say on a scale of 1 to 10, about a 7 to 8

  • yeah theres nudity, violence, sex and drugs but 14 years or older is what i think

    (im 13)

  • I just finnished reading this one. It is really involved, more of a make you think and decide for yourself book. Anyway, my favorite part is when Rorschach gets locked up. Thank you for suggesting this one.

  • you're very welcome and I am glad to hear you enjoyed it

  • cost me 20 pounds, we english are damn expensive

  • Sorry to hear that, but I do hope you enjoy the book and hopefully in the end it will be worth it.

  • Wait how could his mask be a power? Doc made it for a girl in a ball or something and Rorschach was gonna deliver it. But the girl dont like it so he Cut it and put it on. Or something like that its a bit fuzzy in my head.

  • I need to pick this up before I see the movie, great review. Oh, I subscribed by the way xD

  • Thank you very much

  • great review :D

  • Thanks for the compliment and for watching, feel free to subscribe, I've done some other reviews :)

  • I really enjoyed your review i will check out Watchmen but will you review The Graphic Novel Batman Arkham Asylem I want to get it but i dont know if it is worth the money or not

  • I have reviewed that, feel free to check it out, thanks for watching

  • I don't know that much about Watchmen, (and the movie was not my cup of tea) but but the graphic novel sounds great, I think I am going to buy this one, awsome review.

  • Thank you

  • great book review.

borrowed the comic from my friend a few weeks back, read it in a day.

just bought it for myself last week.

    great book.

  • Agreed, great book.

    Thanks for watching

  • great movie review.

    i subbed.

  • Thanks and Thanks. :)

  • Great book , great review.

  • Thanks for watching and yes, it is a great book

  • I have that poster it says somthing about the city fearing ro then he says I've seen it ture face

  • yes it does

  • I just this book today and I haven't read it yet.

    Thanks for the video!

  • Welcome, thanks for watching

  • thx man i saw the movie and im thinking of reading the book, but will the movie rulen the book? And by the way is their alot off stuff cut from the movie thats was in the book

  • If you read the book after seeing the movie, you may notice a few differences and one or two things that werent in the movie but I dont think it would ruin the movie for you.

  • thx man i will defently read the book

  • You're welcome

  • Great review man. Out of all the reviews I've seen (pro and amateur) your ranks number one. Informative and CORRECT (although I raised a brow at the rorschach mask being a power, I guess it could be psychological, other than that it's a new texture-changing fabric developed by veidt and manhattan). I'll be subscribing and checking out future revews. Good job!

  • Thanks alot, your support is greatly appreciated and I do take requests and suggestions.

  • The posters in the background are awesome! I myself am a HUGE fan of comic books and even have my own display showcasing all of my Marvel memrobilia. I am also an avid fan of DC and am minorly into Dark Horse, but I would take Marvel any day. But I love them all. Great video! Great review! I loved the movie.

  • Thanks for watching and the movie was what i expected of watchmen, so i was happy with it

  • Damn! I thought you freak people only exist on TV or movies, but you are real!! Get a girl man!

  • Let me ask you this, why do you come onto the internet just to say these things? I submit you are the freak.

  • i'd say that's debatable.

  • People like that exist though, just like carlosmarin83, they search for these types of videos and then insult people, whats the purpose?

  • lol this is the lamest reveiw he doesnt explain anything

  • I suppose you didnt watch it all the way through, I give info on the characters and the setting but explain that there is too much detail to explain the entire graphic novel. But please, send me the link to your watchmen review and show me how it is done.

  • great movie. great novel. The Comedian is so badass, I love your explanation of the novel for people who havent read it (i read the novel lol)

  • Well I have about a 6 to 7 minute time frame at best, thats if I am lucky so i try to give as much information as possible but if people have questions I am always willing to answer them, thanks for watching

  • yeah, this is random i know but did u ever read Batman: Arkam Asylum?

  • Honestly, no, there is so much Batman i want to and need to read, the most recent I read was Batman : resurrection of Ra's Al Ghul

  • Arkam asylum is really good u should make an effort to read it,, How is the resurrection of ra's al ghul i was gonna pick it up, but i bought a marvel zomies comics instead

  • I am sure it is good, the Resurrection of Ra's Al Ghul is really good, you see part of the origin of Ra's Al Ghul and the lazarus pits , but it kind of ends in Batman Private Casebook, which so far has been the best Batman graphic novel I have read

  • now im regretting buy marvel zombies, idk its gonna take a lot to change my opinion of arkam asylum as the greatest batman novel

  • Well i am not trying to change your opinion, just giving mine.

Batman's Private Casebook has several stories, the first being how he took down Ra's Al Ghul, another involving Scarface and Zatana which is awesome, then there is a special short comic narrated by Scarecrow

  • i know ur not man, Zatanna? How does she get into it? Now i wanna read the one with Scarecrow

  • Zatanna is actually performing when Scarface shows up and she is a part of the story narrated by Scarecrow, plus, there is an amazing story with the Mad Hatter with a twist at the end that. What through me off was, in this graphic novel, the Riddler is a good guy (kinda) now, totally odd for me.

  • cool! Mad Hatter is one of my favorite Batman villains, hes so ,idk how to say it , i guess insane it s kinda creepy, Riddler a good guy? I could understand if it was Two-Face hes done it a few times like in the Hush series but Ive kinda seen Riddler as agood guy in Batman:Long Halloween he kinda helps Batman (but not willingly)

  • It was nice talking to you and i hope i get a chance again, but igtg, but before i leave i have a suggestion, i was watching ur marvel zombies vid and u should update it because the second one is good and if u read Marvel Zombies dead days ull find out that before Magneto destroyes the gate to the other dimension the ultimate fantastic 4 and 3 other survivors that Magneto managed to keep alive from his dimension escape through it, like i said nice talkin to ya i hope we could talk again

  • Of course, very interesting , I have been planning to read more of Marvel Zombies, I will look into, I just picked up something very interesting , a new Resident Evil comic

  • I never read any Resident Evil actually i alway meant to, and if u need any help with the marvel zombies series(some of my favorite comics) i could help ya if ya have any questions

  • Thanks, no questions right now.

But resident evil, its a brand new comic, just came out.

  • alright, i know but ive heard about them

  • Me too, the original ones, I wanna find them, but the used ones cost alot.

  • Ive never seen any of the originals

  • The were made in the 90's, I am gonna try and find them this thursday, I am heading into the city, hopefully I will be able to find this nice little comic shop.

  • yeah my bro lives in philly so whenever i visit him we make it a point to visit some good little comic shops (u never know wat ur gonna find in those places)

  • You're a genius!!!

  • yeah lol

  • I had a plan for something new, we'll know if it works out, friday.

  • wat is it? Or do u wanna keep it a secret or something?

  • Keepin' it a secret, you and my other subscribers (plus anyone else who watches) will see on friday.

  • cool and i just gotta say i saw watchmen an was kinda dissappointed

  • Thats fine, I didnt hate it but wasnt crazy in love with it either.

I do plan to get the DVD, see if the extras/bonus footage makes it any better.

  • same here, yeha ill buy the dvd too, but the movie im really looking forward to like more than i was watchmen is wolverine i read his origin story and i was great and the movie looks like it takes scenes straight from it

  • rorschach is my favorite character

    he rules and kicks ass

but i'm goin to see the movie on sunday

hope it's as good as the comic

  • I hope you enjoy it

  • thxs man

  • No problem

  • I dont read comics.. but is the film as good as the comic?

  • Honestly, no, it was a good film, but no it wasnt as good.

  • good review, i plan on seeing the movie. Im not much of a comic book reader but this was well put, not you bitching or ruining to much.

  • Man you are a nerd

  • who gives a shit

  • well he does a better job than you do, he reads while you stare blankley at a screen for 5 hours.

  • Wow, I dont know how this argument started but come on guys.

  • i read the novel before i saw the movie and i saw the movie today and it was really good and i also loved the novel

  • Good, I am glad you enjoyed them both

  • I read the novel a long time ago and saw the movie. Pay no attention to any uncool comments. We all have varied interests/hobbies and some of use chose comics which hollywood is getting in on. Continue to do what makes you happy bro.

  • Thanks alot :) I plan to

  • Don't apologize for not knowing the Canadian price! Canadians are an immoral, disgusting people that have probably been behind every major war since the countries conception! You, as an AMERICAN, have absolutely nothing to be sorry for. In fact, THEY should be apologizing to YOU. Why don't you think about that?!?

    ROFL

Really though, the majority of the Canadian people are pretty alright. Their obscenely high taxes aren't, but they are...

And you should really cut your hair :D

  • I would but i look odd with short hair

  • Awesome reviews! To all the haters, I find that most people who say these things are guilty of them themselves, so be quiet, this guy kicks ass.

  • Thank you for your support but its okay, I expected this to happen. Everyone has a right to their own opinion, you have an awesome name by the way, good play on words.

  • I'm gonna say it's a pretty safe bet that this guy is still a virgin.

  • You'd lose that bet. You can pay me by friday :)

  • lol this dude most def still lives in his moms house

  • Yes I do, I am 19 and in college, where did you live at 19?

  • im going to see this movie wednesday one of my friends saw it and said it was good

    looks cool!

  • Good idea, thanks for watching.

  • its a graphic novel stop calling it a comic

  • Sorry, but a comic book or a graphic novel, doesnt really change how great it is just by calling it a different name.

Dont get over excited just because people dont share your opinions, it can cause heart problems.

    But thank you for watching.

  • I'm not getting over excited I was just letting you know. Don't worry about my heart i'll be fine good video

  • O.o..it was originally a 12 part comic..

    The graphic novel came later.

    Educate yourself, foo.

  • Now now, everyone has a right to their own opinion, no big deal

  • The reading material this man is holding up happens to be the graphic novel. I'm sorry I don't waste my intellect on these things.

  • Whatever the hell it maybe categorized as, all that matters is the actual content. Forget how in terms of form, but what in terms of its content.

    Enjoy the reading.

That's all I got to say.

  • I bought this book a few months ago so I could read it before I saw the movie. I love this book and the movie was great too.

  • I thought so too, thanks for watching.

  • Okay, two things, One, I will do a review of the movie so expect that soon, two, this is my most watched video yet, very surprising, maybe it was the movie coming up, probably , but this is kinda cool for me, thanks everyone for watching.

  • watchmen sucked so hard! It was easily the worst Movie I've seen since......batman and robin....but batman and robin was a little better than this....not by much though. the Dialog Is dulling, the Effects are not that better than anything I've seen in early 90's movies, the story itself was sorely lacking.....Worshack is about the only saving grace in the whole movie....I'd say they should make a spin off on him but they killed him off in the end so....ya

  • TO Quote A bad Guy From Robocop...

    "Bitches Leave"

  • Yeah I agree, this movie had a lot of problems.

  • Glad to know that someone else out there has the balls to tell it how it is. They should´ve shot the producers, not the movie.

  • the killing joke is a better comic book that guy wrote... But watchmen is still a great comic book series

  • The killing joke is good, but Watchmen has some points I found interesting, like some of the reality of what a hero would be like or what it would be like if a hero had to kill scum instead of just beating it up

  • great mocie...not your typical comic movie...the chic is a whoe in the movie sleeping with all the other make heroes...

  • IMO the movie was awesome. People really need to stop overhyping things. I overhyped Dark Knight and I was very upset after seeing it because i though it was not that great and had more boring parts then Watchmen. Plus it aimed for a kids rating while Watchmen kept true to the adult nature of the comic book

  • the movie was AWESOME AS HELL!!

  • That's a good thing, right?

  • How do you review The Watchmen? It should just one of those books that should be required reading.

  • Well certain people like to hear things about the book that interest them in reading, not everyone knows about it or how awesome it is.

  • Bad bad movie.. its just that simple.

They found a way to screw up a great story.

I actually asked for my money back when the movie ended.

Very bad flick. So many errors.

  • i agree...don't care if i get thumbed down =/

  • You probably saw it high you fucking idiot

your supposed to blaze after the movie is over faggot

    fucking butthurt weaboos

  • Go back to /b?

  • last time i checked called it's /b/ newfag

    not /b?

    GB2FAP

  • your a fucking loser.

you always smoke before the movie, fag.

but no amount of pot could ever save this movie. very very very bad. stop being a fucking nerd and man up.

fuck you and fuck the watchmen. go suck on a blue dick

  • You fucking brainless idiot, it's people like you that will always keep from marijuana ever being legalized

put down the bubbler and get a job you dirty hippie ....

and fuck you and your ideals, watchmen was AMAZING someone must have laced you bud with some dust....fatass

  • WILL YOU ALL PLEASE CALM THE FUCK DOWN!!! - Shaun of the Dead

    but seriously calm down.

  • Don't mean to be an asshole but take your 4chan shit where it belongs. In 4chan.

  • Whats 4chan?

  • I was so anxious to see the Watchmen movie however it was very disappointing the special effects were incredible but the writing was horrible terrible i actually walked out after about an hour and 15 minutes.

  • I wish I lived in the 1980's. That time is much better than now. Today sucks. Where's the new great comics of our time?

  • Difficult to answer, Watchmen was a well done piece of work but if you dont just mean DC comics then there are dozens of new comics with amazing stories and fantastic art. Walking Dead, Dark Avengers Green Lantern, X-Force , X-men and Spiderman and so many more. But the 80's did produce some amazing comics too, some that were looked over.

  • Damn this sure hates superheroes.

  • Hows that?

  • good review

  • Great review

  • dude did u get hit in your eye

  • Haha, no, I've just lost a huge amount of sleep in my life, more than 100 hours

  • nice review

will you post a movie review?

  • Yes I will, expect it soon.

  • nice

  • Good point.

Oh, not sure if you read Marvel but I did a video on Dark Avengers, new series but its a huge change for the marvel universe.

  • Welcome, had I known, I would have done a b-day shout out.

  • Happy b-day!

  • Thanks so much for that man, I ordered the graphic novel, some special edition with enlarged pictures for detail. I love the ideas put forth in here, challenging role of god, etc

Anyway, I recently have started into comics, used to do it as a kid, and have started on a new series called Dark Avengers, I'm almost through the first issue (i read a couple of pages at a time, i love it like that) and i must say its awesome. Have you heard of it?

Again thanks, ill keep in touch through PM

  • Yes, I am on issue 2 (its only up to issue 2 so far) of that series and I am planning to talk about it , thanks for watching my vids, please subscribe because i will have more in the future and i do take requests.

  • done, subscribed :P

  • Thank you for subscribing, if you like DC expect some reviews of some DC comics in the future

  • i dont have that book is it good? should i buy it? everyone is excited about this and the movie also.

  • Yeah, its not expensive or you could buy it in single comic form, either is good, its worth the time and money, believe me.

I cant wait to see the movie myself, I am trying to go see the midnight showing.

  • Actually Silk Specter didn't have to retire, she worked for the Government with John. Although her job was manly to sexual satisfy him and when they separated the government evicted her out of her apartment.

You also left out that Dr. Manhattan (John) has Einstein traits to his character. (although the book makes it clear that Einstein is a different person) John is the son of a watchmaker as was Einstein. Einstein regraded being forced into nuclear physics because he helped develop the bomb.

  • I am sorry my review does not reach your level of satisfaction. I clearly stated that I could not give every detail from the book because it would take to long. I also did not include that Rorschach's mask was made out of a women's dress. Again, I am sorry.

  • No problem just adding to it. There is allot I don't know about Watchman myself.

  • Oh yeah, its so easy to miss the smallest of details. Like a scene where Rorschach tosses salt in a cops face, he actually picked it up, about five issues back from Nite Owls home.

  • I saw an early screening of the movie!!! Its amazing go ahead and check out my videos for a review :)

  • How did you see it early?

  • dad's patient works for Warner Bros. ;)

  • cool review, i dunno whether I should check out the graphic novel or just wait for the film?

  • both

  • To true, read the book (graphic novel) before you see the film though, it gives you a greater appreciation for the detail of the film.

  • ...and £8.99 off Amazon to all the Brits out there :)

  • Thank you, I try to give the basic prices. Since I live in the states, but anyone should read Watchmen, British, Columbian, Indian, Chinese, whatever.

  • dude what about pound sterling?

  • Watchman, one confusing plot. I mean its simple but to many expressive philosphical references really was to much my mind can handle. I just skimper over pages like If I was reading a science dictionary. But overfall, I agree its a good read because it ends nicely, unexpected. Which is always original.

  • It has a complex story with incredibly small and easily missed details, thats why I hope the movie is good and inculdes most of those details.

  • Nice.

  • Thanks

  • I will see the movie, but a great comic book may not be a great movie. But then agine, who know intil we see it.

  • I agree, but look at it this way. Batman, both Begins and The Dark Knight were fantastic movies, Ironman, The Incredibly Hulk, Hellboy, all very good, these new comic book movies are paving the way for even better ones to come.

  • Then I hope you are right.

  • God help us all if I am wrong
