Nice sound. I have set up my GT-8 with the same patch but it sound awfull. There is no life in the sound. Did you directly record this in the PC or did you play through an amplifier. Did you use the BKM elements in humbucker or Single coil split mode?

@rvdo1963 cheers, the GT-8 was connected to my Samson speakers directly. Sound recorded through cheap digital camera's own mic. BKP's are in humbucker mode I don't have push pull installed.

@gbsons You can use the speaker yes. But unless you have a tube preamp, using the gt8 with your amp doesn't mean much.

Hey thanks for the compliment. Re: your message, I cant remember the exact settings I had at the time but I think it went like this

Preamp: Fat Match

Gain: 35

All EQs: 50

Mic: Flat

Placement: 7ish

Cab: 8x12

Output: Line/Phones

"Booster" for the "You Shook Me All Night Long" solo bit.

Nothing complicated :) Keep the gain low and attack the strings hard!
