  • very beautiful. i always wanted to have a tank like that in my room

  • very nice how do you handdle the drainage??

  • That is really nice set up you have , any body would love to have what you have .....good job !

  • wat do u keep in there

  • That's Beautiful!,Good Job!

  • what do u have in there like what 30 dart froges

  • wow

  • chido

  • wow

  • how much water (pond) do you have in it right now?if its just a waterfall, you should get a crested gecko, or some kind of frog

  • what herps do you have in it if you do?

  • how do you clean this thing ?

  • How did u grow the moss???????????????

  • AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!1

  • how do u clean it?!?! lmao

  • thats awsome! how did u do the back piece with the wood? is that one piece for each side? You putting any animals in it?

  • Wow thats cool bro!!

  • HOLY FUCK SAUCE THAT IS NICE! I LIKE THE MOSS! SUCH LUSH GROWTH!!!!!!

Dude i wanna know how you filled in the wood so well... did you cut big peices to fit perfectly?

  • holy shit mate.wish i had the time.nice effort.

  • dude that is some serious shit.

  • question for anyone who knows : how about connecting an aquarium with vivariums ? for example take an aquarium and connect the water parts with a one reptile vivarium and one amphibian vivarium ? and how to best choose animals for these that will not be in conflict with each other ? thanks if you can answer i am a beginner and just looking into this.

  • space is an issue when mixing species have lots of it. activity time of the animals must also be taken into account. after u have quarantined your animals to ensure they are not going to transmit worms or w/e to eachother. mixing a diurnal terrestrial species with a nocternal terrestrial species with plenty of floor space and hiding places is a good start. try to plan it so they dont have to look at eachother lots of line of sight obstructions and stuff

  • @hekma

search for Paludarium on the internet

  • over all very nice, but c'mon man.. cut the hose! its like bird shit on a corvette. just wipe it off.

  • @phoenixflames44 i think he might need that tho because the water needs to be directed into the waterfall. he could just cover it with some creeping ficus tho. this vid is 3 years old tho the viv probably dosent even look the same now.

  • which hose are you talking about ?

  • Nice Tank!!!!

How do you buildt the Background?

  • dude! thats cool. i didnt see any animals you should put an anole or a tropical snake like that.

  • Why Not buy the Amazon?

  • I im shock that is incredible

  • what kind of animal is in it?

  • holy crap hahaha nice tank

  • Are they real plants?

  • I only hope my tank grows in half as full as this one!!!!! Thanks for sharing this amazing slice of life!

    Dave T

  • hey just wondering what substrate you use for the plants to grow and still be suitable for animals. Thanks.

  • Where is the pet? I missed it.

  • lol, as far as im concerned its not a good setup unless you cant find any of the animals.

  • This set up is perfect for anoles, great work man.

  • home away from home for those little guys

  • Comment removed

  • no a lot do live in tropical places day house leaf tail

  • yeah what about hawaiian day geckos!! look it up on google.

  • wow rich person

  • you don't have to be rich to have a setup like this, just plan properly and save. also, build it slowly over time. i'm sure this tank wasn't put together over night..

  • omg

  • some one has money....

  • some one has no tact...

  • That would make a kickass aquarium, especialy with howthick that damn glass is on that thing. FILL IT WITH WATER!!!

  • In a tropical set up you don't need to clean beacause often there is small animals, "micro/macro-fauna" that breaks down poop and such. They also eat mould and algea. And the plants also get nutrition from the decomposed poop, and dead animals (like the small ones). Could have explained it better I guess. :P

  • can u keep a reptile in that

  • Sure. Depends on species of course. A group of dart frogs and some mourning geckos would be awsome.

  • could a crested gecko and the microorganisms wouldnt harm it

  • Probably yes, but I would recommend a higher vivarium for any Rhacodactylus sp. Microorganisms will not hurt your reptile unless it is in bad condition.

  • You don't.

  • wow thats awesome

  • this is amazing!!

  • how do u get the plants to grow from the wall like what put rocks there and plant the plants in d cracks ?

  • you need to make a background out of Great Stuff. then add the plotted plants and the Great Stuff will harden, securing the plants. Coco fiber is then added to make it look natural. google it or check out black jungle terrariums. there are many tutorials on how to do this.

  • dude...noice. thats beastly skill homie! my vivarium is alot lyk urs exept only 45 galon. and moss died, lol. must have taken u lyk a week or two mann.mine took only 3 days to complete. im working on an underwater vivarium scene now yo... its comin out pretty sick. its guna be for spanish ribbed newts. my other one is for PDfs. little blue ones keep it real

  • i think you should learn how to spell :D your vivarium sounds sweet! except for the moss

  • whats wrong with the moss?

  • walk the dead said it died...

  • i bet your house plants are jealous!:) Beautiful. Do you have any fauna in there?? I bet a little newt would be happy.

  • what twat said a chameleon would love that set up! shows how much u know dont it ha ha!

for a start its not tall enough....

  • its 3 ft tall If I'm correct, so that would be tall enough

  • well i would go by your own aquit mate seal it all then start adding ventilation adding the floor sub and back sub

  • simply brilliant

  • how do you keep the moss so green???? After a few weeks mine turns brown .... i mist twice a day and there is low light and ventilation?

    plz help me

  • @qwertyuiopsk8

It's a myth that moss likes low light. Blast away with light but don't let it get hot. And ALWAYS keep moist. It will start to turn brown as soon as it dries. Install a spraying system on a timer otherwise you'll be standing there misting all day. Covering the ventilation helps stop moisture from escaping. U need to find the right balance between moisture and ventilation, so just experiment a little.

  • How about some color!!!!!!!!

Howd my sisters name get up there?? I'm a boy!!

  • you okay there bud?

  • Identity crisis, he'll get over it

  • its good but how do u cleane it al out

  • beautiful, how much money did u put into that? its amazing

  • A chameleon would love that setup, although they can be hard to care for, have you got a lid?

  • That would be best for dart frogs. Something that large would sustain about 20 of them. A fogger would do wonders.

  • Very nice

  • A bunch of darts would love that set-up.

  • is that peat moss real or fake?

  • very nice!! (cover up the tap though!)

  • Thats one beautiful tank, what kind of soil did you use? Is there a nontoxic one for reptiles?

  • it is peat moss, very natural

  • @ansontat so is i pure peat moss or a mixture?

  • I think crested geckos would love that cage, very nice kudos!!!

  • holy guacamoley!!!!!!! dude you have inspired me to build a bigger better vivarium for my chinese water dragon thanks a bunch

    ~happytoess

  • The best vivarium i ever see how you keep your all plants alife?

  • *alive and how you keep the moss alife? Thanks Best Regards,Alex

  • now 90% plant still alive, some of plant dead, but I can change the plant one by one,

some moss alive, some did't, I am not sure why, maybe the lighting source...I am useing three halides for the vivarium, I think that's the main point why most of plant survive...

  • how does it look now... have u added any animals??

  • orignally, my plan was keeping some small forg, but till now, nothing inside because...I can't find the species what i want...

  • wow thats pretty badass.

  • watch slideshow of cute animals

  • that is VERY cool!

is there any animals in there os just plants?

  • orignally, my plan was keeping some small forg, but till now, nothing inside because...I can't find the species what i want...

  • Is verry nice good luck with your vivarium!

  • treefrogs?

  • You should get some dart frogs

  • Hey man I didnt know you had a youtube vid as well...i saw your viv on the web somewhere and you inspired me to do mine......great work....have you done any new projects?

  • This is a very nice vivarium. i know many species that would love to live there.Nice Job!! Come and check out my vivarium. Peace

  • Dear capclass96, your vivarium also cool...

  • This would be a nice home for geckos dart frogs and some Chinese Temple giant tree frogs

  • yes, that my intention, thx ur comment

  • badass man

  • did you modify the tank yourself??

how thick of da glass u useing 12mm?

how many type of plants u got there??

  • actually the tank was designed for fishes...I changed it to vivarium without modify the tank, I just add things inside it, so the glass thickness is 12mm, 12 types of plants approximately...

  • bravo man, very nice

  • thank you XP

  • OMG very nice..

  • thank you ^_^

  • nice vivs but wats init nice plants lol

im sue that they will grow nicely in there lol

  • really nice

  • really thanks.

  • WOW

  • Just have to say that this is one of the coolest vivariums i have ever seen, perfecly done mr ansontat!

  • thanks your comment

  • The ONLY complaint I'd have is that you can see that hose hanging down to give you a waterfall. If you cover the hose with silicone and stick dry cocoa bedding to it, it looks just like a root! Otherwise, that's an amazing viv!

  • yes, you right, that main defect, i will make it better if i make a new one.

  • sweet!

  • thank you

  • is there any animal inside it?

  • then how do you have the time to post these lil messages.

  • that is the greatest vivarium ive ever seen! its so well balanced with plants and wood. you didnt keep any animals in there did ya?

  • Dear all, first of all, thank you very much for your visit my video, but I am quite busy recently, I am so sorry that I can,t reply each of your comments, for more info. Please visit my photo album. Wx3 dot pixnet dot net/ansontat

  • what kind of moss is that on the bottom? how did you get it to cover the entire bottom? how did you get it to grow on the wall/side/background?

    looks great

  • Hi, my native language is Spanish, i have a question for you: how do you manage to avoid plants rotting in your vivarium?.. does your vivarium have a hole to drain the water out when you water them?

I want to build a vivarium here in Peru but I'm afraid my plants could rot.

  • nicee

  • This has to be the best vivarium that I have ever seen! Great Job! I was wondering how long it took you to create it and what types of plants that you have in there? Thanks for the video.

  • How the hell do you keep moss green and alive? I can't seem to keep my moss alive in my vivariums...

  • you need uv lights

  • have sum wat of a unrelated question. im making a foam background and im goin to press soil onto the foam using GE black Silicone for windows & door. i was wondering if it was safe for my frogs cause it says "Mold and mildew resistant" i've heard that the silicone with fungus and mildew "inhibitors" was not safe but ive heard all kinds of things. it doesnt specifically say that it has those "inhibitors" so is it safe to use?

  • wow...thats a very impressive vivarium u got there.....job well done :) what type of moss do you have in there, looks very nice?

  • Very nice, where did you get the moss, and what kind(s) did you use?

  • saweeet..the only thing i would do differant would be to cut down that waterfall hose a bit . but its always easier to nit pic some one elses work what lucky creatures inhabit that viv..

  • yeah, whats going in it?

  • very very nice. my frogs swould enjoy your tank

  • Definately. What kelvin temp are your halides? How did you set up your substrate? I'm researching dart frog displays. I'm a reef keeper myself, but am wanting to set up a viarium.

  • go visit dendroboard dot com everything you need to know is there about building vivs

  • Very nice. I like the rimless look. Very clean. How are your lights hung? It's hard to tell from the vid. Are they fluorescents or halides?

  • yes, it is halides, it just hung from ceiling by anchor bolt.hope you enjoy it.^_^
