@onsenfoudunom1 If you're trying out a tube guitar amplifier, you a:) want to know how it sounds closer to stage volume, and b:) want to bring the amp alive to hear what it actually sounds like. A tube amp at bedroom levels will give you no idea what-so-ever at what it sounds like at a gig.
