A lot of people think that the Oboe's sound is bad, but I play the Oboe and even though it's very challenging it's sooooooooo fun and even sounds good sometimes!

people say oboe sounds bad!? not what they say at my school. even though im a starter oboe the honor band oboes sound amazing. even band teachers prefer the oboe

i was the honor band oboe and the all-city so i had talent, but i just didnt like it anymore which is sad i agree but i dont regret my decision to leave band even though i do miss it!

@XxiheartdrpepperxX Those who think it sounds bad have just never heard it played the right way. It's a difficult instrument to master, and only great oboists are capable of coaxing a sweet, haunting sound from the oboe. Keep up your playing! Playing the oboe is so rewarding if you just keep at it. :)
