@thistleinfotech Even if that is true, a comparison between the two cannot be made - it's not like with like. Hans Zimmer is about big powerful tracks that build up a scene...Powell is more about easy listening tracks that don't take over scenes in film....which isn't necessarily a bad thing. They're both wonderful composers, different and unique sounding - thus no need for debate over which is better.
