During the 50s-early 70's black music was robbed by white musicians of their lyrics and song. There was no copyright law protecting black music making it a goldmine for white musicians."Whites" had it easier to market the music since they had radio air time while "blacks" relied on shows. It's a shame "The Animals" broke up the band so early after only a few years, these guys were awesome. These is no telling what wonderful songs they could have made. Burdon's voice was so cool and the band members sounded great. The Beatles and The Rolling Stones have nothing on these guys.
