How and where can you get time in a simulator like this? How much is the cost? Do you have to go through a background check? I would love to try this. Great video.
1:44 Leave that speed brake alone especially a heavy plane like this, its really easy to stall b4 touchdown ,if your not set up with your speed or heading ,go around
as someone with over 1000 hours in the real thing, I have to say that was quite good. right on path and right within touchdown zone... did you have the AutoThrottle engaged? it was hard to tell, but it looked like it was off...
Wow that was really amazing I really think booth of you have a wonerful future as a airliner
pilots. When i was 11 years old i flew a DC-10 simulator which i truly thought was amazing and everybody i got that amazing feeling that i was going to fly sooner or later nice landing by the way captain Stefan and first officer Jim awsome job!
@ALecksalex1 thankyou very much... so you are a born aviator, like me haha. I love the DC10. slightly shorter than the current MD11. i still believe that it is one of my favorite planes ever. gotta love that tail engine. what about youre future as a pilot?. still chasing youre dream?. if so, NEVER GIVE UP!
Be aware that this guy "askcaptainscott" is no airline pilot. I expose him and he block me from posting on his site where he go's on about flying for the airline which is a lie.
@OMGz1122 we both are aviation lovers since we were very young. its our passion and we are confident to make it as a commercial airline pilot..but we diddn't use everything we should use for the approach, but we knew enough to land this baby. We learned this from Microsoft Flightsimulator. a computer program wich is very realistic and fun., (and addictive haha). anyways, thanks for watching.
@stefanholtland Nice video. I play FSX too. what do u do when flying long flights when auto pilot is on in that game? just sitting in front of the pc and do nothing or do you do something else?
@zszs100 I never make longer flights than 1 hour... cause that's just a waste of time. just waiting for the arrival. im just flying for fun. takeoff, following traffic pattern, and land. Trying some difficult approaches like St maarten, Kai tak, Inssbruck. that's more my style.
@stefanholtland Me too i don't fly to places longer than 500nm. How do you follow traffic and approache in that game? Just using ILS or do you have to have payware. (like PMDG 747)
Nice video that is marred only by the added soundtrack. What's up with everybody who feels like they have to add incidental music to their video ? Is the actual event not exciting enough for you ?
@jetdillo of course it is. but this song is special to me. i get the chills listening to this music and that makes this experience even more stunning to me. i gues so that not everybody feel the way I do, but this is my video and it is my oppinion.
@ROBLOXrayan1565 It would be nice to awnser youre question, but unfortunatly i can't. im very lucky to have a dad who know someone at this trainingcenter. but maby you can search on the internet. that would be my advice to you.
@Q8yGodfather wouldn't that be great?. But no haha. This simulator is a profesional one where real pilots flying for KLM test their flying skills. It is a simulator standing on 4 meter high hydraulics dat is bouncing up and down, left and right. It gives you the best flying experience there is. this would cost a lot more than 15.000. i think it costs more than a million.
@h1rif@h1rif Well no... not exactly the same as this one. This was a simulator standing on 5 m (16 feet) high hydraulics free to move in any direction!. gives you the best flying experience!.that's one. Two: You must be very very rich to be able to buy this thing. It's only for the pro's! if you are able to land in this simulator than you can do it in realy life to! (practicly).Butt. you are always able to build your own cockpit!. search on youtube for example: home made cockpit.
Soo Nice Stefan and Jim! Wish I was there with you as navigator or something :P If I ever come visit you in Holland I want you to take me to this. Either 747 or 737 :)

No man , it's impossible .. no way it cost million .. i'd rather to buy Cessna rather than spending million on a game
Remmeber " Bentley Continental Supersports cost less than $300.000 :)
so , believe me this simulator cost $15,000 to let us say $30,000 the maximum
