  • buck eye nut

  • I believe the nut in Kevin's video is actually a pecan. Note the four sides and pointed ends of the husk. While the nut in your video is round with no discernable facets.

  • i meant to say buckeye...>.>

  • its a beckeye nut its edible

  • pretty sure it's a horse chestnut....Not Edible :(

  • Either a buckeye or American Chestnut. neither are edible

  • Looks like a smooth hull Buckeye.. Not edible by humans.. Cattle will eaat the and become intoxicated. They are no good for anything except for throwing them..lol..

  • will it kill you if you eat it?

  • american chestnut not edible

  • i wouldent eat it

  • it's a buckeye and no you can't eat it.

  • Buckeye? Thats a new name for me. Born and bred in Northeast NJ these were refered to as Horse-Chesnuts and not very edible: That is, in reference the second nut displayed in or on this video.

  • what you have there is a buckeye

  • It is a buckeye thanks for the replys.

  • im from SC, its an ol saying that buckeyes are good luck...

  • Yes that's a buckeye and it's NOT edible.

  • definately a buckeye

  • I live in the South now. I used to live up North and ate a lot of Hickory nuts. The Hickory nuts in the South seem to be smaller. I think the answer to your question is a Buckeye, beautiful but not edible.

  • Thank you for the video, have you posted this in the forums yet??
