@thornburyhighschool Could be a number of things, the tires are track tires (no treads) the exhaust emissions might not meet standards, as well as exhaust decibel level. Also looks like it doesn't have rear lights and the front headlamps might have been taken out (similar to what you do with superbikes, take out the lamps and add a smokescreen)

@civicD16a Yeah, that's what I thought too. The background "music" is really annoying after the first 10 seconds. Would've been much more enjoyable if there weren't any music at all and just the sound from the acutal event.

Oh, I knew that it isn't street legal though. In Dubai I read an article of the 599xx in a car magazine and it said that it's just for the Fiorano track. Which I thought would be kind of weird, always fly to Italy to drive your Ferrari.

I don't think so, because there were 2 of them during a trackday event at the Mugello, in Florence, it would be a shame to spend over a milion of € and then you can use it in just one place.

Just another PR job by Ferrari to showcase what they could do if they were to race in ALMS or ELMS..... and like the FXX we'll never get to see these things win any awards or get anything more than youtube videos.

You're wrong.. Ferrari doesn't need to make a car to show that they're great, they're making this car to develop their technology in F1 and for theire street cars. The customers of these exclusive and fast supecars (FXX and 599XX Programme) help Ferrari to build the technology for their future cars.
