  • Imaginefree69, sin was as rampant in this setting as anywhere else men are living. "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."

  • Where there is no law

    there is no sin.

You people are imposing sin on these people.

    Shame on you!

  • Now that's the truth. Go forth and make desciples of all the nations baptizing them in the name of the father the son and the holy spirit. Everyone is supposed to do this. JW student.

  • Every tribe that has been assaulted with Christianity has been destroyed.

Their families broken, their language outlawed, American dress codes imposed,

guilt and shame imposed, their children sexually abused,

their men stripped of dignity and authority,

their cultural heirlooms stolen or destroyed as "idols",

their health destroyed by sugar and alcohol and western diet...

For the sake of humanity, leave them alone!

  • @Imaginefree69 And your basis for these claims is?

  • "And your basis for these claims is?"

    History and personal experience.

I have BEEN a missionary, alas,

    as have my siblings.

And I have been pastor to many who have been destroyed by missions.

Just look at rhe trail of blood and misery that follows "Evangelism"

across Africa, north and South America, the South Pacific...

Seer the photos of Hawai'ian converts harnessed to heavy wagons

as the prim Methodist missionaries whip them up the steep Mountains.

Oh, the claims are easily proved.

  • @Imaginefree69 And as a missionary did you promote the breaking of families, outlawing of indigenous language, or force adoption of western clothing? Did you sexually abuse children or allow it to happen? Did you steal or promote unhealthy diet or habits?

I know hundreds of missionaries working for a number of agencies. What you describe is not reflective of their practice, policy or Christian doctrine. I am skeptical of your claims in regard to modern evangelical missions.
