i had the storm 1 it was overall ok it did have alot of bugs and it froze alot i had to reboot it at least 4 time a day i sold it thank god i got the storm 2 in feb and i must say it is a hugeeeeeeeeeeee difference it blow the original out the water its really no comparision storm 2 is the best

@slighten1 It's... difficult to explain. A lot of people were skeptical about the touch screen. If you gently lay your finger on the screen you can highlight whatever you want. But when you click, it registers it as a "Click" and it types the letter. I absolutely LOVE the clicking feature the storm has. at first you have to get used to it. But having the option to toggle objects before clicking them is insanely useful and fun.

dude the Blackberry 2 only allows a human finger to be able to click it...it locks up just as you showed but try something like a stylus or something when power is still running through screen it locks up...another thing is it locks up for dropping ...unlike iphone

@davidandbilly no all american comanies use CMDA otherwise you wouldn't be able to use your phone in the US. GSM is European bands. Quadband phones, like the storm 2, have CMDA and GSM therefore can be used in the US or Europe. Stop giving out false information.

I like sure press on the storm 1 and the new version is much better. Sure Press is fantastic and I think makes typing better than a physical keyboard. The keys are biger and you get the feedback. Some may not like it. I happen to love it. With the bugy lag issues the blackberry Storm really made for a frustrating experience at times. With those issues resolved the new version is fantastic. The web browsing still needs improvment but is not bad. The app store is getting better.

Storm 1 still sold extreemly well. I can say that although the phone had its issues I still ove the phone. No phone will kill the I phone though. It is a great device. Choices are what make the world interesting.

I think it's better because it's more accurate and you don't have to worry about tapping something by accident, so you can click.. Apparently a lot of people don't like it, they prefer the Apple touch which is not great if you like to text..
