You use the left nuncku analog stick to move left, right, and forward. The Wiimote is used for attacking with the sword and jumping by lifting the wiimote up.

There's this special similar to speedbreak from SATSR. I think you hold the B button and swing your wiimote to boost very fast.

There is some QTE in this game when fighting bosses such as King Arthur by swinging your wiimote at that moment when the icon shows up.

I believe SEGA should have TREASURE develope a SONIC game as I believe no one does fast paced action games better. However I don't know if that is likely as the challenge in most TREASURE games tend to be only for the most frantic of gamers. Wouldn't it be a shame for Sonic fans to finally get a Sonic they have been craving, only to find that they cannot beat it except on easy mode.

I was one of the people who enjoyed Secret Rings, and this looks to be a lot like that, minus the annoying control scheme and the on-rails gameplay and plus a better camera and amazing graphics. (Seriously, look up screenshots of this sometime. The lighting and texture work is crazy good for a Wii game.) I'm looking forward to this one.

I would have liked Secret Rings if Sonic didn't "autorun" and Sonic Unleashed was absolutely fantastic, Werehog included. Well, you can. There's backtracking, and you have full control. It's only the demo stage. I'm sure that some of the open fields we've seen in other screens will allow for some more exploration. Especially when going on side-quests for villagers.
