Here is what chaps my ass about this. The men in this video were cleared after a thorough investigation. Yet here the left is, nearly 2 years after the release of the video, still claiming that this is a war crime. These men were proven innocent and the left is still persecuting them. Find a real war crime to complain about. Better yet hold the insurgents to the same rules of war. Every insurgent in Guantanamo was an illegal combatant and ought to be executed as such. We have that right.
From seattlessa...."Lol. If they were cleared on this particular case, so what? What about the other 1/2 million civilians killed in the 10 years this B.S. war has been going on?" Evidenly he thinks that those half million other deaths make this chopper crew guilty no matter what they did or didn't do. Seattlessa is a proven Liar.
@SeattleSSA Go join the Taliban. They were cleared by the Army. If you want to lynch them, you have to do it yourself. I know....that would require something approximating courage so you won't do it. Just to be clear, your fantasy of a soviet style show trial isn't going to happen.
@navykurt : you mean the same Army I enlisted in? Yeah, what do you know of courage punk? How about having the courage to stand up against the lies and the corruption in your government. Who said anything about a soviet style show trial? Lol. If they were cleared on this particular case, so what? What about the other 1/2 million civilians killed in the 10 years this B.S. war has been going on? Huh dumbass? Were they all "Cleared" as well?
@SeattleSSA Then address those you dumb fucking doggy. Quit harping on people who you know are innocent. By your own admission they're innocent yet here you are still running your cocksucker. Army? Maybe they taught different lessons on loyalty and the legal process when I was in. We sure as shit weren't rooting for the dune coons the way you are. Go fuck yourself.
@navykurt Let me ask you something else you stupid fuck. At what frame do you see children in the video? Why are you persecuting innocent doggies? You want these guys hung out to dry for something they didn't do and I'm expected to believe you were in the Army? Of those half a million Iraqi civilians that were killed how many we killed by there fellow Muslims? Don't ever lie about being a vet. You obviously aren'y a vet or you wouldn't be going after INNOCENT troopers.
@navykurt: You're an ignorant sheep and a tool for a run away government. You can believe whatever the fuck you want about my enlistment pussy. I suppose anyone who disagrees with our governments foreign policy must not have served right tough guy? Well tell me this smartass, Why is it that Ron Paul who advocates a non-intervention foreign policy has gotten more military donations then ALL of the candidates COMBINED!?!? can't explain that fact away, can you faggot? lmao
@SeattleSSA I don't care what your lame ass argument is. They were fucking cleared. What part are you to fucking stupid to understand? You want to LYNCH them and you can't you impotent little fag.
@navykurt: lol. I never said anything about wanting to Lynch them. I did not comment on what I thought the fates of the pilots should be. However, after doing more research on this issue, I will admit that there doesn't seem to be an intent to kill innocents. If they're guilty of anything, its being trigger happy and not identifying their target beyond a shadow of a doubt. They Sounded more like kids playing Xbox and not professional soldiers/airmen.
@SeattleSSA You bloody well did. I said they were already cleared of any wrong doing. Your response was "What about the Iraqi's that died in the war?" The implication is clear. Even if they were cleared you seem to believe that they should be prosecuted because of all the other killings. Liar.
@navykurt : copy/paste this in YouTube: ADAM KOKESH - EXCELLENT!!! Veterans Active Duty march. I suppose you'll claim he too wasn't in the service since he disagrees with U.S. foreign policy and isn't "Loyal" to our government. You're confusing Loyalty with Patriotism... it ain't the same buddy.. but I ain't got all night to explain it to you son.
@SeattleSSA I'm questioning his veracity because he still wants to prosecute men who have already been cleared of any wrong doing. He said he didn't care that they were cleared because a half a million Iraqi's died in the war. In other words he wants to use these men for scape goats. What ex-military man wants men punished for something they didn't do? I'm not even arguing from a foreign policy perspective. I'm arguing that these men were already cleared.
@navykurt If you want to hang innocent men out to dry start with yourself. You aren't ex-army. if you are the recruiters must be scraping the bottom of the barrel or you have Stockholm syndrome. Take your pick.
@navykurt :You make me laugh silly man. I didn't admit they were innocent, still actually not convinced of it. They certainly could have done more to identify the targets. Lets talk about loyalty since you brought it up. I'm loyal, motherfucker, to my country always and to government WHEN IT DESERVES IT. Mark Twain said that, minus the motherfucker. Anyways, The Nazi's were loyal to Hitler. Plenty of loyalists in North Korea, etc,. Blind loyalty without question is just as retarded.
Its hurts buddy.... Each and every word you spoke burns.... May you get peace, may the memories stop haunting you... You are a good man.... You did what you could.
Today US Soldiers jokingly and coldly commit human rights violations and massacre of Arabs without legal repercussion, but tomorrow could those same soldiers round you or your neighbors up in a camp or have you in the cross hairs of their hell fire missiles regardless of you being Black, White, Latino, Child Elderly Republican, Democrat etc. It happen to Japanese Americans before. REMEMBER, THINK, Have empathy and charity and oppose civil and human rights violations wherever they occur.
No one can be trusted in a system where a group men dominates the basics of life, then offers the ability to live, under the rules of the owners liking. You let a man own land, dominates its resources, he gets to decide how to regulate them. This is the only truth you need to understand, for all things result from land ownership. Land is the only thing man requires to sustain life. Let no man own more than he can use, lest he rise to great power, and enslave the people of earth.
@welshrarebeats True a legend made by socialists who steal from the ultimate minority the individual, what a legend! Wish I could do that, spread your collectivist poop elsewhere, it comes out of your mouth too easily to prove by definition of what is is, what you are: a chimp that speaks poop out of your mouth and pretends to be a human.
Goodman = collectivist can't trust anything her socialist mouth says.... she a google lefty schill, promotes her health crap so they can use the gun to steal from u for her social agenda.
haveing reviewed data the gunship observer was'nt profishent in his assment and missed critical information in conferming thret... god help us god damn us... why? i'm sure he regrets the adrenalin which obscured his judgement in the heat of war... or the desire... i can forgive him, however can he ever forgive hiself? obslivcation due to intimadation. thanks amy your a good-man!
agent0008hammer, have you actually watched the video? It was obviously a massive incident that should never have happened. Julian Assange is far more intelligent than you.
What the leaked cables have said about Russia and its surrogate-state sponsorship of what would most accurately be described as an international terrorist network...
Assange is going to have to live in custodial protection for the rest of his life... he will now become a willing accomplice for internet censorship...
His life as a free man is over... The sex charges are a cover story...
His former employer hacks ATM accounts... and the attacks on credit card sites...
@Peteromich put a c before the wordpress link and you will find it. I'm not sure about the witnesses, but there is also a very truthfull testimony of one of the soldiers on the ground here on youtube. It's hard to say what is the truth. You can also find out (in the link) the photo that the camera took, it was from an american tank; so from point of view heli is not so stupid to think they were aiming at the tank. The mission of the heli was to protect nearby soldiers that were in actual combat
@mclambrechts1 Where was there an rpg? The soldiers ask for permission to shoot after they see the camera man raise his camera which they mistake for a weopon.
@Peteromich yes, they were shooting, but they were shooting photos with a camera, after the attack nobody looked for weapons on the ground to confirm if they really had weapons. Coward soldiers!
@metalslugmasters look up 2 soldiers in collateral murder here on youtube. There was an rpg, but carried by the other guy in the background; the heli guys were thinking there were 2 rpg's and one (which was the camera) was pointing at the Bradley tank. This was later confirmed by the picture that was taken by the camera.
It is extremely dangerous to take pictures of a combattant tank, especially when there's a heli that had the mission to protect it.
@mlambrechts1 that is the policy utilized in the U.S. they first shoot, then they ask if they were innocent people, if they were, obviously they will tell you that they weren't innocent people. Conclusion: no murderer would confess "yes, I killed innocent people." If the power is given to the wrong person, they will commit atrocities but any atrocity won't remain as a secret forever. Other countries outside the US can testify that.
In fact I watched the complete video, and of course it is shocking because people were killed. But it's a war zone, what is there to say... The video shows nothing special, only the way that the journalists were killed. I presume this was already known... I mean, the bullet holes should already have told the story.
@mlambrechts1 What is there to say? That we are not supposed to be over there killing innocent human beings. I understand that it is a war and that people are going to be killed but, we are not even considering that fact in this video, they are actually aiming for them(the innocent that is) you ignorant brain washed tea bagger.
@Lazybate ;-) It is a war zone and you can hear clearly from the conversation of the soldiers that they were aiming for armed people... the journalists were imbedded... there really is not much to say. There may be contralateral damage and maybe (has to be investigated) mistakes. But you can clearly hear that the soldiers were not after innocent people and that one soldier is comforting another because was shocked that they hit a child. Again : it is war!
@mlambrechts1 None of the targets had weapons. They people the shot at ARE the people they are asking to engage, which none of whom had ANY weapons. It might be war, but they could be smart about it.
@MaxBemisingod ollateralmurder.wordpressThere will always be many conflicting interpretations on this one. I doubt that wikileaks can clarify what really happened (I mean, there was an rpg!!!)
@mlambrechts1 Where was there an rpg? The soldiers ask permission to shoot after they see the camera man raise his camera which they mistake for a weapon.
I watched the full uncensored version of the video on another link - no commentary - just video. At 18:10 the Shooter says to the other soldier "Its their own fault for bringing a kid into a battle". This statement horrified me. This is not comfort or compassion. Until I heard this ... I felt sympathy for the soldiers' fear and stress. Yet look at the laundry on the clotheslines - they are shooting-up homes where families live. Homes like mine & yours. Tragic.
It's the illiterate nature of all things public that encourage aggressive tax collection, and the welcoming of foreigners to over-throw anything smacking of Constitutional. There are many half-baked, queer recipes of unholy matrimony that have yet to be served up: group, incestuous, inter-species, inter-galactic, etc.
Goodman always cherry picks her stories. The Iraq war is unjust, but I don't hear a lot of criticism from the left of Obama and senate for what they have done to perpetuate it.
Wikileaks and cryptome.org takes and publishes any thing they can get his hands on. I have seen anti climate change documents on there and just the other day I heard Amy pimping climate change again. I just think you are going to see tons of so called Americans journalists cherry picking what you should read yourself.
Yeah, that vid in question disturbed me to no end. The utter inhumanity of those honourless dumberican troops absolutely enraged me. The fact that no one would have cared if there were no reporter victims in the massacre saddened me. The fact that not one of those mindless drones will ever get punished depressed me.
Now they got Assange. God effin damn it, the same psychos that videogamed a bunch of civs and god knows what else they did, got him.
Oh come on they were not just Reuters employees they were JOURNALISTS, embedded with hostile forces trying to get a story. If you actually watch the video you see this "group of people" theyre with have guns and an RPG. They should have known the risk they were taking just reporting in a war zone much less being embedded with anti-coalition forces. I actually praise them for their bravery to get the story because its their job but bad things happen. Its called the fog of war. Bad things happen.
this is sick.. I can not stand being an american citizen anymore and frankly I am discussed with this shit... G W Bush started the war, its his fault we are in it why do we have to suffer because of him.. why? G W Bush head should be shaved and sent to Iraq! we should personally turn him over to the iraqi people because would love to give him the BOOT!
i wonder what might have happened if some american kid was blown into pieces by some an Arab. America would have bombed the country for this wrong act lol
so far the only terrorist that have gotten caught lately have been hooked by entrappment , guess thats the only way they can get them now - thanks obama -
Thank goodness for Democracy Now! I really appreciate your service...please not ALL Americans are evil. Some of us are fed-up with the government and we want the PEOPLE to be in charge again.

Not everyone has a right to know everything. While one is never morally permitted to lie, at the same time, I may be obligated to withhold information from someone who has no right to know it. In such cases I either keep silent, or I use mental reservation, especially when any harm to innocent people could result by my disclosure of certain facts to those who have no moral right to them. Fr John Trigilio Jr
If the civilian tried 2 defend himself n exercise the same ‘rite' the soldier has, the civilian wud be considered ’terrorist/enemy’. So the civilian cant defend himself, n nobodys doin it 4 him (s the soldiers r the one killin him), he has 0 choice but 2 die, his murder justified as collateral damage. y duz the soldier only hav a rite 2 defend himself. where r the civilians rites? their choices are : a) die, considerd a mistake or b) defend themselves like the soldiers n Be considered an enemy.
I really would like to point out that a description of the incedent appeared in the Washington Post, which is obviously a concervative rag. . . (sarcasm) and in the book "The Good Soldiers" All the context that is needed is in there, and sadly if Rueters had bothered to look their questions might've been answered. Bradley Manning and Jullian Assange are not doing this to actually help anyone understand anything. Its just to get people who don't know anything frothing at the mouth. It worked
All i can say is noone wants to be held accountable for their actions.Of course the miliatiary didnt want this to be leaked out.It shows how inhumane the people we are suppose to trust can be.We pay these people to be barbaric.I think everyone needs to see this on national t.v. and lets make a stand. The police are no different. They get away with all kinds of crimes including murder.
You are speaking totally out of context. How many marines had be lost in that part of the world. It is unfortunate a reporter got killed but when I watch the video my reaction is that those soldiers were at war and the reporter's Camera may have appeared as a gun esp when all the others are holding AKA 47s. Take step back, analyse and keep ur emotions out of it and u realise it is just boys doing their dirty war job. War is ugly.
@MoronsnUtube I think there is a context that is never EVER forgotten. And that is not killing Reporters, kids and allowing the Medical assistance for those wounded. This is war 101. The videos are not exactly what the soldiers see and these are only the views of the shooters, the issue in question is the "base" that tells them to shoot or not which have a much higher closer look and definition of what is going on. Again, inside the context, notice how EAGER these "brave soldiers" are to kill.
@petarro try getting shot at everyday and told again and again to hold fire. Try giving someone money to take care of themselves and hearing that its not enough that they want more. Try having 40 year old men act like children and then see how you feel when you have a legatimate target. Light em up
@madmedic92 WOW !!! you sure are a fanboy! So you actually support the devilish eagerness of the pilots to shoot the innocent! & do u really support the way they laugh about their achievement afterwards! & do you think shooting those rescuers that came afterwards in the van to help the injured driver was just??? you must be high if you say so!
PS: if u have got family issues! Whats dat to do with killing innocent iraqis!
@petarro Thumbs up buddy! There are some you cant convince so let them be in their utter ignorance! But friend! Its good that some of us can see the truth & speak up for it!
@MoronsnUtube I agree with you. I am sure people would cringe if they saw the horrific details of what they did to our troops...and those troops in the video ...had the "USA" in their heads and didn't know...or care because people don't realize the impact of war on the mind! They REALLY thought deep down (you can hear it in their voice) that those people were the enemy!! Its awful the way its being portrayed! Just awful. And YES...war is terrible! I totally agree with you!
@MoronsnUtube who EXACTLY is speaking totally outa context! Who invaded iraq i the first place! US forces ! heck they knew marines are gona loose their lives ! wth man! you are trying to prove an unjust war to be just when it simply isnt!
Democracy Now markets itself as "an alternative to the biased MSM". Why then does Amy Goodman have a column with one of the biggest syndicators in the country? Why is she appearing on a rubbish "network" like CNN?
Because if Democracy Now was pure progressive content, it would be half as big as it is. To compete against all the other progressive outlets, you have to have that "celebrity hype factor".
Also, Amy Goodman herself is now a "celebrity" journalist. Who happens to work for Pacifica. Does this mean that my pledges go to help pay for her salary, health care, etc.? I read somewhere that she's making $1 million a year. IF that's true, then that really bothers me.
"Celebrity Journalism" has ended? i completely disagree. Instead, it's jus the opposite.
When was the last time you heard or saw a MSM journalist actually come across like one? In Afghanistan, it's still marketing both the reporter and the story. When others comment on MSM reporters (ex., Huff Post), do they treat them as journalists? Or, is page 6 N.Y. post hype?
I wish I could explain what it was like to be on the ground that day. For me I'd just lost a soldier in a most god awful way, and had been in constant contact (fire fights) with the enemy since oh dark thirty. It was hot, we were in a bad time and you know the worst part? we were getting shit on by the news back home. put yourself in that situation and then get told "hey you gotta go treat these guys that just tried to kill you. THAT was July 12 2007 for me
@madmedic92 look this case tells "murder". Honestly i strongly believe "if" this 2 helicopter pilots would be in Switzerland, the Police would arrest them.. So tell this 2 bodies that they never should tell there names and go to switzerland otherwise they would be punished because 1) of war crimes
@Gintoxiccc Actually no. ans who cares about the Swiss. They have not actively engaged in conflict in a long long time. The group of men were carrying at least one RPG-7 and several AK 47's I know, because I saw them. the van, that was more regrettable, but as far as Noor is concerned. . . you embed with Jihadis you get whats coming to you
@madmedic92 ... yeah and thats why this "Van" was attcked.., your right specialy the children looked very dangerous. The reason why Switzerland is not making war ... because it is democracy..i know it is hard to believe but Switzerland is realy "better"
@Gintoxiccc tell you what Go and fight a counter insurgency and see how soon every van, child shit puddle and cute puppy become a death trap, especially with Iranians supporting them. and a true Democracy is a mob. We are a republic, and for better or worse we are the only ones actually doing anything.
@madmedic92 You should be researching the roots of why a soldier is put in that kinda situation in the first place and do something about it. The biggest lie of all is that you're going out there to serve your country. Most soldiers are quickly disillusioned at the beginning of there tour and it becomes a survival battle, you know it's "us or them" and the choice is obvious. You call that doing something?! That's just another lie to help somebody quiet down his/her conscience.
@Defsolid I was THERE! I know how i got in that situation. Jaysh al-Mahdi was killing Sunnis, and blowing up Alpha co 2-16. The BN was tasked to provied security, and to help create improvements in the comunity. we were getting killed while we were trying to PAY them to put in sewage pipes in THEIR OWN neiborhood! I know whereof I speak
@madmedic92 you've just proved what i was talking about, i'll try to clarify my point.
What you experienced and i'm sorry you had to go though that, is the result of a mess which didn't start with your situation, people need to be very thorough when they think about joining the armed services, you need to know about who's really pulling the strings. Again i'm sorry to say this but as a soldier you're only a pawn in the game set by corporate thugs. The big picture my friend, the big picture.
@kingofqwerty well this morning I took a dump. Julian Assange managed to get thousands of people targeted and possibly killed. (ask what the Taliban does with Power drills)
as for in my life, I've saved several lives (including one on 12 July 07)I helped improve clinics in As Sulymanya in 04 and I've basically been an over all good guy. I also devolved a witty charm and devilishly handsome visage. and Unlike most Lefties, I've got logic and reason.
@madmedic92@madmedic92 Because you're retarded you completely misunderstood me, thanks. No, I want to know what possible positive outcome can come of the illegal invasion of Iraq. Don't tell me democracy, why did USA gov. put Saddam in power in the first place if that's the case? You don't give a shit about human life, so spare me.
@kingofqwerty Well first off, how do you define "Illegal"? One nation declared that they were going to invade another. . .that's about as legal as it gets. US Laws are pretty clear, the US legistlature voted for military action, and that's exactly what happened.
@madmedic92 But what right do you have as a country to do that, you get to kill people because you have a round of votes, and in the face of massive opposition - you call that democracy? And on the subject of illegal, yes - aggresion is a crime in international law.
Same thing in Iran, the reason it's such a shithole is also USA and Britains fault. You disposed of democratically elected Mossadeq in Iran when he nationalized Iran's oil. You're making the world worse, not better.
@kingofqwerty the same right as every country does. It's called SOVEREIGNTY. and that Massive opposition, was actually quite minor. CNN and MSNBC played it a lot more than it actually was. Aggression is pretty flimsy. BTW
Iran is a shit hole because they spend more on Mosques and weapons then they do on cultural improvements. also because The Koran is pretty closed minded as such books go. ANYTHING created by people of the book (see infadel) are unclean, thus bad.
@madmedic92 The Iranian revolution was anti-american in it's nature and islamic because the shah was anti-islam. Thanks to the idiocy and jingoism of USA and England secular iranians have to suffer. If you weren't so greedy for their oil they would most likely be a secular democracy today, Mossadeq was very popular.
Germany after WWII was convicted of the crime of aggression - apparently aggression is not a right countries have - or are we measuring with different yardsticks here?
@kingofqwerty not so much anti American. as anti western. America has been seen as the leader of the Free Word (The West) just happened to be a symbol. Arabs and Persians are real big into symbolism, that's why they used 9/11 (see Siege of Vienna). and if you want to talk about Oil Greed talk to OPEC. Also if you look at Islamic countries, they go through definitive cycles between moderation and extremism. There's a LOT of nasty stuff in the Koran, which requires a whole seminar.
@kingofqwerty Anti western is extremely popular. Take a look at France. It's pretty close to tearing itself apart. In the end you really have to stand up against the Hard-liners wherever you find them. The US Model of Use of Force UNTIL GWOT was to roll in, bomb someone into the stone age, or threatened to do so, to get people to comply. Panama Desert Storm, Grenada, Ground Forces do not stray. But they do now. We're standing our ground and resisting. Only ones that are.
@madmedic92 Right, Anti-western is more proper. The point is that the west have enabled and is playing into the hands of the Iranian islamic hard-liners. The best thing would be to exit this oil economy quagmire once and for all instead of this global power game that ordinary people have to suffer for. All religious dogma is crap if you ask me. The east should exorcise the demons of Islam and the west the demons of christianity - these are the tools of power of evil people.
@kingofqwerty I do agree that alternatives for oil have to be found. When the world doesn't need oil the jackasses can choke on it. "Religious Dogma" is not crap. In times of great or privation it gives you strength and in times of success it reminds you to be humble. Besides even if you don't follow a "Dogma" as you put it, you'd be amazed at the fervor that borders on Zealotry that people will display, and what they focus on. I choose to believe in a merciful God personally.
@madmedic92 At the same time we know thtat there is no justification for the war except the greed for oil and geopolitical power. We know today that there existed no real evidence of WMD and that several reports of Iraqi WMD's were forged. The whole idea of bringing "freedom" and "democracy" to Iraq is just and after construction.
@kingofqwerty well . . actually there was. There's some really nasty chemical stuff. It wasn't reported because it didn't fit MSN's narrative. And reports of WMDs were based on what the greatly reduced CIA (thank Bill Clinton) had. Sadam kinda like to play up more than what he had. See "Arab Strong man"
@madmedic92 To me God is nothing but a comforting fantasy, to choose God is to willfully deny truth and say to yourself - I can't deal with reality and the implications that a universe without God imposes.
Christianity is used as a tool by republicans to get christians to vote on things they don't actually believe in - like taking away benefits for the poor - waging war for profit and so on. In a perfect world, christians would actually read the bible.
@kingofqwerty I can't imagine someone NOT believing in God. There are more things in heaven and Earth than can be dreamed in your philosophy. All the myriad of Wonders in this world, and the improbability that we'd all be here, as we are, leads me to the conclusion it is highly unlikely there is NOT a God.
Christianity is not a tool of the Republicans, or Democrats. I have read the bible. Cover to cover. I've also studied Islam Shinto, and Buddhism.
@madmedic92 We see it differently then I guess. I can't see how something so amazing can be the product of a God that in my eyes is petty and vindictive. I might call the universe God - but not the God of christianity.
I did not mean to offend you - I'm sorry if you saw it that way.
@kingofqwerty Petty and Vindictive? Thats people. There is a tapestry that you can not see because you are one simple strand but if you are fortunate enough (near death experiences help) but yes there are darker colors, it makes the tapestry as a whole all the more beautiful. The God of Christianity is poorly understood, by most, but if you actually read the bible and look around you just might be lucky enough to see whats going on. but then epiphanies are rare, and not everyone has one
@kingofqwerty no offense taken. I do get a little honked when people refuse to see the good Soldiers do, or refuse to see that there are reasons to fight. I also get honked at people who dishonor those that have died. but then sadly, honor isn't a value this society places in high esteem anymore. Neither are Fidelity, Charity, Chivalry, or Honesty. everyone is quick to point fingers and blame but few are willing to DO something to make the world a better place. Soldiers are Doers.
@madmedic92 I hear you man, you're brave people. I'm just angry about how this war was sold with all the lies - and I'm angry about how Rumsfeld has dragged USA into the dirt with by instituting torture as a method of interrogation - that's something you would expect of a 3rd world nation - not USA.
@kingofqwerty You'd be amazed at how much you DON'T have to torture. Just look a little intimidating and you'd be AMAZED at what Iraqis give up. But if you ever stare into the eves of a fanatic. . . its terrifying. there is NO wrong too big. Its like literally looking into the eyes of the devil.
@madmedic92 What president could get elected without saying he's a devout christian? It is most definitely a tool for the powerful to get votes. The more unchristian - like the bush administration - the more they talk about God.
@kingofqwerty Thomas Jefferson? Who said what difference does it matter if my neighbor has no god or 20. He wasn't espousing Atheism, because he was, in fact a christian, but advocated a live and let live philosophy. very interesting guy. we've also had a Gay president, but he's not really thought of too highly in Historical referance, because he pretty much ALLOWED the Civil War to happen, but hey at least you can say it happened.
@madmedic92 If you can't imagine somebody NOT believing in god well, here I am.
Saying that it's improbably that we are here as we are is not justification for a god. By that logic every single possible outcome of the universe would mean there is a god. you cannot say that since this outcome is a improbable then theres a god when it's just as improbable as any other imaginable outcome.
@sunset261 Ask yourself this: do you really not believe in God, or is it that you are anti-religion. Were I to calculate the improbability of Human existence, accounting for all the necessary events to make this planet even habitable the probability would be so astronomical as to be laughable. But more than that the study of DNA, and how that works, is quite frankly baffling at times. how doe the Nucleus KNOW a strand of mRNA needs to be produced?
@sunset261 but at the end of the day logic isn't enough. I could cite physics, metallurgy, biology, chemistry, astronomy and all things that should fill a man with wonder, but at the end of the day Logic and Knowledge aren't enough. Faith must be felt. At a base level, you have to feel it, and when you do, things click into place. I'm not telling you to go to a monetary, grow your nails out till your in the Guinness book, or any of that. but a life without Faith, isn't as full as you'd think
the fact that you seem to have a constant needs for unsubstantiated hope doesn't justify it. It doesn't matter what emotional gain you get something, if something doesn't has enough evidence to be considered true you shouldn't claim it as such.
@sunset261 No, I think that's Obama supporters your talking about. but there is an abundance of evidence. If you're looking for a guy with a bushy beard sitting in the clouds you're going to be disappointed. It is simply put too much for our meager understanding. But if you're lucky you'll see just enough that you know irrefutably. Sadly trying to explain it to everyone else is pointless. Kinda like Cassandea.
@madmedic92 Oh where is this overabundance of evidence. And don't just say "the bible" If it's too much for us to understand then how could you possibly say it exists?
@sunset261 Can you explain to me now, in clear concise terms what happens inside a black hole? probably not. Stephen Hawkins, one of the smartest guys around doesn't even know. How does a bee fly? Their wing span should not support their mass. Why is gravity so easily defeated? Einstien proved nothing can go faster than light, and yet, somehow some particles do. How? we know laughably little in our world, and our understanding of what we do know is not enough to justify
@madmedic92 No i can't i never claimed to. However, we have evidence that black holes are there through data and mathematics. We cannot use mathematics to prove that a god exists. Saying that it's outside our understanding is not justification for saying that it's true. You have still failed to show me any evidence that a god exists.
@sunset261 My point was not that they exist, but you asked how there could be a supreme being beyond our understanding, and I pointed out an example of something that we know to exist but do not know HOW THEY WORK. I do not have a mechanical proof that explains God, but I can tell you I came to my faith through observation of the natural world. many other scientists have as well. Unfortunately God is ineffable. I could point to examples all day, but could never share my perception
@madmedic92 "I came to my faith through observation of the natural world" This tells me nothing. you'd have to tell me which parts of the natural world point to a god. if you can't then your argument really doesn't have much substance.
@sunset261 you will never no a god exists so stop looking once you stop looking he will come to you. Until then sit down shut up and wait, If you so keep on searching well then you won't find him anywhere until you sit down and shut your mouth then you will only know and develope the answer you are seeking!
@TheAngryAmericanwon soo god will only come to me if i stop looking for one? That's makes absolutely no sense, no god ever came to me even when I wasn't looking for one. unless you have actual evidence, this conversation is over.
i'll suggest you coming out of this 'God Conversation' and see the video and the 'Actual Evidence' that how fucked up Americans are or well , the soldiers - the US Soldiers and the politicians...
@madmedic92 anything like our supposed mastery. Hell even our scientist who all agreed on man caused global warming have been proven to not be correct.
@madmedic92 LMAOOOO!!! C'mon! read statistics! Iraq couldn't even show superiority to its neighboring countries not even in conventional warfare! let alone be a threat to USA! Attacking USA would have been like going to the moon with nothing but an electric fan! THATS AS REAL AS IT GETS!
@0515524847 well if you talk about actual fighting strenght that's a factor of arab mentality. They are not Shock Infantry fighters (See: phalanx) they are Raid fighters. rin around hit someone and run away. they can do Shock Infantry, but, very badly. as a function of that they think very soviet in that numbers are good. Also BIG sticks. But explaining military truisms and cultural history is usually lost on fruits.
@madmedic92 no but thats not my point man! If terrorists plan an attack & the state fails to ensure the security of its citizen then its the state that is to be blamed. 9/11 attacks, inside job or outside job...the damn fact is that the State failed us that day. Those who swore to protect americans failed their countrymen that day. Despite over whelming evidence that an attack on USA was imminent, no precautionary measures were taken & the way i see it, attacks were very much allowed to happen.
@0515524847 Well There's no argument that the system screwed up. Still doesn't mean you should beat the everloving snot out of the guys that did it, or sent people to do it. and as for "allowed" not so much.
@madmedic92 look man i already said it over and over again that these attacks shouldn't have happened but Afghan-Iraq wars shouldn't have happened too. Wars can never bring peace...all they bring is death & destruction, broken hearts & shattered dreams. You are a medic...tell me how do you feel when you see a fellow soldier in tremendous pain...& you want to just make his pain go away but you cant do anything ? What was Iraq attacked for...those who died, what did they die for ? NO WMDs Found !!
@kingofqwerty Second the US didn't put Sadam in power, though we did support him in the regional chess game that we played in the Cold War. kinda sucks but you really can blame the Iran Iraq war on Winston Churchil, who created some really stupid countries when the Ottoman Empire was broken up. And as far as making the country better? There are sociatial issues, that make it so you pretty much HAVE to engage them on some level to make it moderate.

Just to be clear, your fantasy of a soviet style show trial isn't going to happen.
navykurt 1 month ago
@navykurt : you mean the same Army I enlisted in? Yeah, what do you know of courage punk? How about having the courage to stand up against the lies and the corruption in your government. Who said anything about a soviet style show trial? Lol. If they were cleared on this particular case, so what? What about the other 1/2 million civilians killed in the 10 years this B.S. war has been going on? Huh dumbass? Were they all "Cleared" as well?
SeattleSSA 1 month ago
@SeattleSSA Then address those you dumb fucking doggy. Quit harping on people who you know are innocent. By your own admission they're innocent yet here you are still running your cocksucker. Army? Maybe they taught different lessons on loyalty and the legal process when I was in. We sure as shit weren't rooting for the dune coons the way you are. Go fuck yourself.
navykurt 1 month ago

You want to LYNCH them and you can't you impotent little fag.
navykurt 1 month ago
@navykurt: lol. I never said anything about wanting to Lynch them. I did not comment on what I thought the fates of the pilots should be. However, after doing more research on this issue, I will admit that there doesn't seem to be an intent to kill innocents. If they're guilty of anything, its being trigger happy and not identifying their target beyond a shadow of a doubt. They Sounded more like kids playing Xbox and not professional soldiers/airmen.
SeattleSSA 1 month ago
@SeattleSSA You bloody well did. I said they were already cleared of any wrong doing. Your response was "What about the Iraqi's that died in the war?" The implication is clear. Even if they were cleared you seem to believe that they should be prosecuted because of all the other killings. Liar.
navykurt 1 month ago
@navykurt : copy/paste this in YouTube: ADAM KOKESH - EXCELLENT!!! Veterans Active Duty march. I suppose you'll claim he too wasn't in the service since he disagrees with U.S. foreign policy and isn't "Loyal" to our government. You're confusing Loyalty with Patriotism... it ain't the same buddy.. but I ain't got all night to explain it to you son.
SeattleSSA 1 month ago
@SeattleSSA I'm questioning his veracity because he still wants to prosecute men who have already been cleared of any wrong doing. He said he didn't care that they were cleared because a half a million Iraqi's died in the war. In other words he wants to use these men for scape goats. What ex-military man wants men punished for something they didn't do? I'm not even arguing from a foreign policy perspective. I'm arguing that these men were already cleared.
navykurt 1 month ago
@navykurt If you want to hang innocent men out to dry start with yourself. You aren't ex-army. if you are the recruiters must be scraping the bottom of the barrel or you have Stockholm syndrome. Take your pick.
navykurt 1 month ago
@navykurt :You make me laugh silly man. I didn't admit they were innocent, still actually not convinced of it. They certainly could have done more to identify the targets. Lets talk about loyalty since you brought it up. I'm loyal, motherfucker, to my country always and to government WHEN IT DESERVES IT. Mark Twain said that, minus the motherfucker. Anyways, The Nazi's were loyal to Hitler. Plenty of loyalists in North Korea, etc,. Blind loyalty without question is just as retarded.

@Peteromich yes, they were shooting, but they were shooting photos with a camera, after the attack nobody looked for weapons on the ground to confirm if they really had weapons. Coward soldiers!
metalslugmasters 1 year ago
@metalslugmasters look up 2 soldiers in collateral murder here on youtube. There was an rpg, but carried by the other guy in the background; the heli guys were thinking there were 2 rpg's and one (which was the camera) was pointing at the Bradley tank. This was later confirmed by the picture that was taken by the camera.
It is extremely dangerous to take pictures of a combattant tank, especially when there's a heli that had the mission to protect it.
mlambrechts1 1 year ago

I mean, the bullet holes should already have told the story.
mlambrechts1 1 year ago
@mlambrechts1 What is there to say? That we are not supposed to be over there killing innocent human beings. I understand that it is a war and that people are going to be killed but, we are not even considering that fact in this video, they are actually aiming for them(the innocent that is) you ignorant brain washed tea bagger.
Lazybate 1 year ago
@Lazybate ;-) It is a war zone and you can hear clearly from the conversation of the soldiers that they were aiming for armed people... the journalists were imbedded... there really is not much to say. There may be contralateral damage and maybe (has to be investigated) mistakes. But you can clearly hear that the soldiers were not after innocent people and that one soldier is comforting another because was shocked that they hit a child. Again : it is war!
mlambrechts1 1 year ago
@mlambrechts1 None of the targets had weapons. They people the shot at ARE the people they are asking to engage, which none of whom had ANY weapons. It might be war, but they could be smart about it.

Tragic.

It worked

The police are no different. They get away with all kinds of crimes including murder.
kevininregina 1 year ago
You are speaking totally out of context. How many marines had be lost in that part of the world. It is unfortunate a reporter got killed but when I watch the video my reaction is that those soldiers were at war and the reporter's Camera may have appeared as a gun esp when all the others are holding AKA 47s. Take step back, analyse and keep ur emotions out of it and u realise it is just boys doing their dirty war job. War is ugly.
MoronsnUtube 1 year ago
@MoronsnUtube I think there is a context that is never EVER forgotten. And that is not killing Reporters, kids and allowing the Medical assistance for those wounded. This is war 101. The videos are not exactly what the soldiers see and these are only the views of the shooters, the issue in question is the "base" that tells them to shoot or not which have a much higher closer look and definition of what is going on. Again, inside the context, notice how EAGER these "brave soldiers" are to kill.

To compete against all the other progressive outlets, you have to have that "celebrity hype factor".
whereismybailouttv 1 year ago
Also, Amy Goodman herself is now a "celebrity" journalist. Who happens to work for Pacifica. Does this mean that my pledges go to help pay for her salary, health care, etc.? I read somewhere that she's making $1 million a year. IF that's true, then that really bothers me.
whereismybailouttv 1 year ago
"Celebrity Journalism" has ended? i completely disagree. Instead, it's jus the opposite.
When was the last time you heard or saw a MSM journalist actually come across like one? In Afghanistan, it's still marketing both the reporter and the story. When others comment on MSM reporters (ex., Huff Post), do they treat them as journalists? Or, is page 6 N.Y. post hype?

@Gintoxiccc Actually no. ans who cares about the Swiss. They have not actively engaged in conflict in a long long time. The group of men were carrying at least one RPG-7 and several AK 47's I know, because I saw them. the van, that was more regrettable, but as far as Noor is concerned. . . you embed with Jihadis you get whats coming to you
madmedic92 1 year ago
@madmedic92 ... yeah and thats why this "Van" was attcked.., your right specialy the children looked very dangerous. The reason why Switzerland is not making war ... because it is democracy..i know it is hard to believe but Switzerland is realy "better"
Gintoxiccc 1 year ago
@Gintoxiccc tell you what Go and fight a counter insurgency and see how soon every van, child shit puddle and cute puppy become a death trap, especially with Iranians supporting them. and a true Democracy is a mob. We are a republic, and for better or worse we are the only ones actually doing anything.
madmedic92 1 year ago
@madmedic92 You should be researching the roots of why a soldier is put in that kinda situation in the first place and do something about it. The biggest lie of all is that you're going out there to serve your country. Most soldiers are quickly disillusioned at the beginning of there tour and it becomes a survival battle, you know it's "us or them" and the choice is obvious. You call that doing something?! That's just another lie to help somebody quiet down his/her conscience.
Defsolid 1 year ago
@Defsolid I was THERE! I know how i got in that situation. Jaysh al-Mahdi was killing Sunnis, and blowing up Alpha co 2-16. The BN was tasked to provied security, and to help create improvements in the comunity. we were getting killed while we were trying to PAY them to put in sewage pipes in THEIR OWN neiborhood! I know whereof I speak
madmedic92 1 year ago
@madmedic92 you've just proved what i was talking about, i'll try to clarify my point.
What you experienced and i'm sorry you had to go though that, is the result of a mess which didn't start with your situation, people need to be very thorough when they think about joining the armed services, you need to know about who's really pulling the strings. Again i'm sorry to say this but as a soldier you're only a pawn in the game set by corporate thugs. The big picture my friend, the big picture.
Defsolid 1 year ago
@Defsolid yeah and all a soldier ever thinks is that he is serving his country! my ass!

@madmedic92 What are you doing exactly? What are you achieving?
kingofqwerty 1 year ago
@kingofqwerty well this morning I took a dump. Julian Assange managed to get thousands of people targeted and possibly killed. (ask what the Taliban does with Power drills)
as for in my life, I've saved several lives (including one on 12 July 07)I helped improve clinics in As Sulymanya in 04 and I've basically been an over all good guy. I also devolved a witty charm and devilishly handsome visage. and Unlike most Lefties, I've got logic and reason.
madmedic92 1 year ago
@madmedic92 Because you're retarded you completely misunderstood me, thanks.
kingofqwerty 1 year ago
@kingofqwerty yes. I'm just a simple knuckle dragger that doesn't know much of things that are all vast and brainy.
madmedic92 1 year ago
@madmedic92 @madmedic92 Because you're retarded you completely misunderstood me, thanks. No, I want to know what possible positive outcome can come of the illegal invasion of Iraq. Don't tell me democracy, why did USA gov. put Saddam in power in the first place if that's the case? You don't give a shit about human life, so spare me.
kingofqwerty 1 year ago
@kingofqwerty Well first off, how do you define "Illegal"? One nation declared that they were going to invade another. . .that's about as legal as it gets. US Laws are pretty clear, the US legistlature voted for military action, and that's exactly what happened.
madmedic92 1 year ago
@madmedic92 But what right do you have as a country to do that, you get to kill people because you have a round of votes, and in the face of massive opposition - you call that democracy? And on the subject of illegal, yes - aggresion is a crime in international law.
Same thing in Iran, the reason it's such a shithole is also USA and Britains fault. You disposed of democratically elected Mossadeq in Iran when he nationalized Iran's oil. You're making the world worse, not better.
kingofqwerty 1 year ago
@kingofqwerty the same right as every country does. It's called SOVEREIGNTY. and that Massive opposition, was actually quite minor. CNN and MSNBC played it a lot more than it actually was. Aggression is pretty flimsy. BTW
Iran is a shit hole because they spend more on Mosques and weapons then they do on cultural improvements. also because The Koran is pretty closed minded as such books go. ANYTHING created by people of the book (see infadel) are unclean, thus bad.
madmedic92 1 year ago
@madmedic92 The Iranian revolution was anti-american in it's nature and islamic because the shah was anti-islam. Thanks to the idiocy and jingoism of USA and England secular iranians have to suffer. If you weren't so greedy for their oil they would most likely be a secular democracy today, Mossadeq was very popular.
Germany after WWII was convicted of the crime of aggression - apparently aggression is not a right countries have - or are we measuring with different yardsticks here?
kingofqwerty 1 year ago

Only ones that are.
madmedic92 1 year ago
@madmedic92 Right, Anti-western is more proper. The point is that the west have enabled and is playing into the hands of the Iranian islamic hard-liners. The best thing would be to exit this oil economy quagmire once and for all instead of this global power game that ordinary people have to suffer for. All religious dogma is crap if you ask me. The east should exorcise the demons of Islam and the west the demons of christianity - these are the tools of power of evil people.
kingofqwerty 1 year ago

The whole idea of bringing "freedom" and "democracy" to Iraq is just and after construction.
kingofqwerty 1 year ago
@kingofqwerty well . . actually there was. There's some really nasty chemical stuff. It wasn't reported because it didn't fit MSN's narrative. And reports of WMDs were based on what the greatly reduced CIA (thank Bill Clinton) had. Sadam kinda like to play up more than what he had. See "Arab Strong man"
madmedic92 1 year ago
@madmedic92 To me God is nothing but a comforting fantasy, to choose God is to willfully deny truth and say to yourself - I can't deal with reality and the implications that a universe without God imposes.
Christianity is used as a tool by republicans to get christians to vote on things they don't actually believe in - like taking away benefits for the poor - waging war for profit and so on. In a perfect world, christians would actually read the bible.
kingofqwerty 1 year ago
@kingofqwerty I can't imagine someone NOT believing in God. There are more things in heaven and Earth than can be dreamed in your philosophy. All the myriad of Wonders in this world, and the improbability that we'd all be here, as we are, leads me to the conclusion it is highly unlikely there is NOT a God.
Christianity is not a tool of the Republicans, or Democrats. I have read the bible. Cover to cover. I've also studied Islam Shinto, and Buddhism.
madmedic92 1 year ago
@madmedic92 We see it differently then I guess. I can't see how something so amazing can be the product of a God that in my eyes is petty and vindictive. I might call the universe God - but not the God of christianity.
I did not mean to offend you - I'm sorry if you saw it that way.
kingofqwerty 1 year ago
@kingofqwerty Petty and Vindictive? Thats people. There is a tapestry that you can not see because you are one simple strand but if you are fortunate enough (near death experiences help) but yes there are darker colors, it makes the tapestry as a whole all the more beautiful. The God of Christianity is poorly understood, by most, but if you actually read the bible and look around you just might be lucky enough to see whats going on. but then epiphanies are rare, and not everyone has one
madmedic92 1 year ago
@kingofqwerty no offense taken. I do get a little honked when people refuse to see the good Soldiers do, or refuse to see that there are reasons to fight. I also get honked at people who dishonor those that have died. but then sadly, honor isn't a value this society places in high esteem anymore. Neither are Fidelity, Charity, Chivalry, or Honesty. everyone is quick to point fingers and blame but few are willing to DO something to make the world a better place. Soldiers are Doers.
madmedic92 1 year ago
@madmedic92 I hear you man, you're brave people. I'm just angry about how this war was sold with all the lies - and I'm angry about how Rumsfeld has dragged USA into the dirt with by instituting torture as a method of interrogation - that's something you would expect of a 3rd world nation - not USA.
kingofqwerty 1 year ago
@kingofqwerty You'd be amazed at how much you DON'T have to torture. Just look a little intimidating and you'd be AMAZED at what Iraqis give up. But if you ever stare into the eves of a fanatic. . . its terrifying. there is NO wrong too big. Its like literally looking into the eyes of the devil.

@madmedic92 What president could get elected without saying he's a devout christian? It is most definitely a tool for the powerful to get votes. The more unchristian - like the bush administration - the more they talk about God.
kingofqwerty 1 year ago
@kingofqwerty Thomas Jefferson? Who said what difference does it matter if my neighbor has no god or 20. He wasn't espousing Atheism, because he was, in fact a christian, but advocated a live and let live philosophy. very interesting guy. we've also had a Gay president, but he's not really thought of too highly in Historical referance, because he pretty much ALLOWED the Civil War to happen, but hey at least you can say it happened.
madmedic92 1 year ago
@madmedic92 If you can't imagine somebody NOT believing in god well, here I am.
Saying that it's improbably that we are here as we are is not justification for a god. By that logic every single possible outcome of the universe would mean there is a god. you cannot say that since this outcome is a improbable then theres a god when it's just as improbable as any other imaginable outcome.
sunset261 1 year ago
@sunset261 Ask yourself this: do you really not believe in God, or is it that you are anti-religion. Were I to calculate the improbability of Human existence, accounting for all the necessary events to make this planet even habitable the probability would be so astronomical as to be laughable. But more than that the study of DNA, and how that works, is quite frankly baffling at times. how doe the Nucleus KNOW a strand of mRNA needs to be produced?
madmedic92 1 year ago
@sunset261 but at the end of the day logic isn't enough. I could cite physics, metallurgy, biology, chemistry, astronomy and all things that should fill a man with wonder, but at the end of the day Logic and Knowledge aren't enough. Faith must be felt. At a base level, you have to feel it, and when you do, things click into place. I'm not telling you to go to a monetary, grow your nails out till your in the Guinness book, or any of that. but a life without Faith, isn't as full as you'd think
madmedic92 1 year ago
the fact that you seem to have a constant needs for unsubstantiated hope doesn't justify it. It doesn't matter what emotional gain you get something, if something doesn't has enough evidence to be considered true you shouldn't claim it as such.
sunset261 1 year ago
@sunset261 No, I think that's Obama supporters your talking about. but there is an abundance of evidence. If you're looking for a guy with a bushy beard sitting in the clouds you're going to be disappointed. It is simply put too much for our meager understanding. But if you're lucky you'll see just enough that you know irrefutably. Sadly trying to explain it to everyone else is pointless. Kinda like Cassandea.
madmedic92 1 year ago
@madmedic92 Oh where is this overabundance of evidence. And don't just say "the bible" If it's too much for us to understand then how could you possibly say it exists?
sunset261 1 year ago
@sunset261 Can you explain to me now, in clear concise terms what happens inside a black hole? probably not. Stephen Hawkins, one of the smartest guys around doesn't even know. How does a bee fly? Their wing span should not support their mass. Why is gravity so easily defeated? Einstien proved nothing can go faster than light, and yet, somehow some particles do. How? we know laughably little in our world, and our understanding of what we do know is not enough to justify
madmedic92 1 year ago
@madmedic92 No i can't i never claimed to. However, we have evidence that black holes are there through data and mathematics. We cannot use mathematics to prove that a god exists. Saying that it's outside our understanding is not justification for saying that it's true. You have still failed to show me any evidence that a god exists.
sunset261 1 year ago
@sunset261 My point was not that they exist, but you asked how there could be a supreme being beyond our understanding, and I pointed out an example of something that we know to exist but do not know HOW THEY WORK. I do not have a mechanical proof that explains God, but I can tell you I came to my faith through observation of the natural world. many other scientists have as well. Unfortunately God is ineffable. I could point to examples all day, but could never share my perception
madmedic92 1 year ago
@madmedic92 "I came to my faith through observation of the natural world" This tells me nothing. you'd have to tell me which parts of the natural world point to a god. if you can't then your argument really doesn't have much substance.
sunset261 1 year ago
@sunset261 you will never no a god exists so stop looking once you stop looking he will come to you. Until then sit down shut up and wait, If you so keep on searching well then you won't find him anywhere until you sit down and shut your mouth then you will only know and develope the answer you are seeking!
TheAngryAmericanwon 1 year ago
@TheAngryAmericanwon soo god will only come to me if i stop looking for one? That's makes absolutely no sense, no god ever came to me even when I wasn't looking for one. unless you have actual evidence, this conversation is over.
sunset261 1 year ago
@sunset261
i'll suggest you coming out of this 'God Conversation' and see the video and the 'Actual Evidence' that how fucked up Americans are or well , the soldiers - the US Soldiers and the politicians...
Have some shame!

do they keep there heart & soul at home in some safety box or what?

@madmedic92 anything like our supposed mastery. Hell even our scientist who all agreed on man caused global warming have been proven to not be correct.

@madmedic92 LMAOOOO!!! C'mon! read statistics! Iraq couldn't even show superiority to its neighboring countries not even in conventional warfare! let alone be a threat to USA! Attacking USA would have been like going to the moon with nothing but an electric fan! THATS AS REAL AS IT GETS!

0515524847 1 year ago
@0515524847 well if you talk about actual fighting strenght that's a factor of arab mentality. They are not Shock Infantry fighters (See: phalanx) they are Raid fighters. rin around hit someone and run away. they can do Shock Infantry, but, very badly. as a function of that they think very soviet in that numbers are good. Also BIG sticks. But explaining military truisms and cultural history is usually lost on fruits.
madmedic92 1 year ago
@madmedic92 no but thats not my point man! If terrorists plan an attack & the state fails to ensure the security of its citizen then its the state that is to be blamed. 9/11 attacks, inside job or outside job...the damn fact is that the State failed us that day. Those who swore to protect americans failed their countrymen that day. Despite over whelming evidence that an attack on USA was imminent, no precautionary measures were taken & the way i see it, attacks were very much allowed to happen.
0515524847 1 year ago
@0515524847 Well There's no argument that the system screwed up. Still doesn't mean you should beat the everloving snot out of the guys that did it, or sent people to do it. and as for "allowed" not so much.
madmedic92 1 year ago
@madmedic92 look man i already said it over and over again that these attacks shouldn't have happened but Afghan-Iraq wars shouldn't have happened too. Wars can never bring peace...all they bring is death & destruction, broken hearts & shattered dreams. You are a medic...tell me how do you feel when you see a fellow soldier in tremendous pain...& you want to just make his pain go away but you cant do anything ? What was Iraq attacked for...those who died, what did they die for ? NO WMDs Found !!
0515524847 1 year ago
@kingofqwerty Second the US didn't put Sadam in power, though we did support him in the regional chess game that we played in the Cold War. kinda sucks but you really can blame the Iran Iraq war on Winston Churchil, who created some really stupid countries when the Ottoman Empire was broken up. And as far as making the country better? There are sociatial issues, that make it so you pretty much HAVE to engage them on some level to make it moderate.
