  • I have seen them twice 78' & 83' incredible band ! THX for posting

  • Ian is the biz for sure... :)

  • wow, sick!

  • nice old classic.

  • WOW WOW WOW

  • They are better than ever !

  • @handyhanks This was 1993, though.

  • Barre is so underrated. Such a kick ass guitarist. Love the guy.

  • i agree, the bass player is nothing compared to Glenn Cornik original line not that this guy is a bad bass player but Tull`s fan expect a song to bare resemblance, this guy is gone too far in his own style!

  • British talent again.........

  • Awesome ~ Love it ~ !!

  • LOL I had forgotten the fucking codpiece - what a numbnutt

  • Great Stuff........a remastered classic ;-)

  • Very nearly favourited the original '69 version but f**k that, this is hot!

  • magic!

  • Great!

  • he gets better with age ,,,,,not so daft

  • that crisper and smoother

  • ian anderson, total legend

  • Ian anderson...LEGEND

  • JT - They were the minstrels of rock and roll, kind of like a book of old England and the classic stories of that period set to what was in their time modern rock. So original and unique to this day. They are timeless!

  • The Greatest Progressive Rock Band In The Entire History Of Rock Music. Jethro Tull are To rock music what Shakespeare was To English Literature.

  • @ZadZadrack joint number 1 with the Zep and Floyd!

  • @stopjunkscience : I Agree, I Agree with you 100%..

  • Most under rated rock band sheer genius!

  • Dave Pegg (the bassman) is great!

  • Stop reload stop reload stop reload, I'm getting fucking sick and tired of trying to watch a vid that wont play, doesn't anything work right anymore???!!

  • @stratocat6 try a new internet connection (broadband, hi speed, whatever); here it works just fine.

  • sounds well that flute

  • quality at its best

  • maybe I live in the past...or what ?!

  • I like the sound of the flute.

  • Pure genius!!!They get better and better!!!Super talent!!

  • Ian is super weird. His stage antics are creepy sometimes 1:53

And what is up with the "loin cloth looking thing" that Ian used to wear?

    Is this a Scottish thing?

  • think it's "Ianish" :D

  • No capo that is clearly an English thing. It is sometimes referred to as a cod piece, however I am more than happy to report that the genius is pure Scottish. Dunfermline in the ancient Kingdom of Fife to be precise. I hope MacBroon has been of assistance. :D

  • like the version with Eddie Jobson (& the same drummer!) more..

  • also live is the song bad

i love the studio version of the very best of jethro tull

  • also you cant speak english and know nothing. shut up tard

  • also dumb are you

  • estoy viendo este video ahora mismo, y se me caen las lagrimas, flipanteeeeee, joder a partir del 2:16 es la ostiaaaa

  • I dont dig the 5 string bass on this at all, the original bass line from the 69 version is way better IMO. He changed the whole feel of the song.

  • @detroitlionsfan7 Dude, I totally agree. The bass line was a major part of this song and this bass player fucked it all up!

  • trop beau, merci c´est magnifique !!! thanks for posting so good stuff :)))) they make feel travleing into the middle age i don´tknow why...just a dream

  • ah, the 5/4 of it all....

  • that was.... weird.

  • @barkingtree88 haha

  • cool, this was a very unique group

  • I saw Tull in 1979 in washington DC They were doing the A album. it was epic.

  • Would have had to have been 1980 or 1981. In '79 they were touring for either Heavy Horses or Stormwatch.

  • ian does a great frank spenser impression at 0.40 any body else see it???

  • excellent post ! thx a lot !

  • ahhgn! Man, do hate the fact that I haven't seen these guys in person. One of my all time, favorite groups.

  • Fantastic! I´ve saw them in Barcelona, 1984.

  • Best of Jethro I must say.. As its played more progressivly, chills my spine.. awesome!

  • the tulls totally rocks ! we will enjoy them for another centuries ..such music is undying ! long live !

  • this song is the best, is fantastic, my fav. la mejor cancion, gracias.

  • Jethro Tull is simply fantastic. I've saw Ian Anderson in Vienna. 40 years of pure Rock!

  • Hey, me too. For the first time in my life, in Czech Republic on the Loket Castle. Ian is a genius, and alive it's double truth. The best of the best.

  • know*

  • do enybody now how to get the hidden bonus track on the 25th anniversary dvd?

  • Muito bom... esse cara mandam muito...

  • Their drummer is excellent! whats his name? Great band

  • Doane Perry

  • I remember when they were on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno in April of 1993. They rock it really good on this song than Ian was interviewed by Jay.

  • At your throat and had surgery on it then you would sound funny too.

  • Awesome vid! His voice don't sound too bad here. It sounds great considering what he's been through.

  • Agreed. It doesn't sound that bad compared to nowadays.

  • He still don't sound to bad, give the man props. He has aged with his music.

  • He hasn't aged well. =(

  • What is it with you people? I just saw Tull live and they were fine, not like they used to but what more can you ask for? He is still pushing on. If you had a baseball thrown

  • Well, get over it. I just explained why he can't do that. and he can, but it is not easy for him to do.

  • He CAN'T do it. He sounds like he's being strangled.

  • right on

  • You got that right! People that give us crap cause we call it the way it is, are full of BS.

  • What is wrong with us? We know what is and what was. We prefer what was as it is quality.

  • Well stop bitching about it if you don't like it, go listen to some Oasis or something then.

  • Interesting to see all of Anderson's incarnations over the 40 years. Here the voice is slightly forced and quite different, he looks so thin and emaciated from his early days. I almost prefer looking at the more rotund, "happy grandad" you see today.

All the same, he still has that irrepressible energy and passion. Long may he reign.

  • good artist Ian anderson

  • Thanks for posting...brilliant quality vid. Nothing to say about JT that's not been said a zillion times before.

  • if you lile JT plz join my JT fan group. just go to my profile and click groups and join JT fan group. plz post your videos

  • I dont find his voice painful to listen to or anything but his singing certainly does sound forced out.

  • I disagree with most of you.

I think Ian is at his peak here

  • Thats cos your ears are painted on.

  • The voice is too painful to listen to.

  • If only he didn't look so damn goofy nowadays! But the music is gold!

  • jethro tull rules. but ian dont have the energi and voice he had in the 70's.

  • The best Flutist and song writer ever.

Seeing him December 1 in Connecticut.

  • Great taste you have! Ian is the best rock-blues-jazz-folk entertainer over the last 40 years!
