  • I guess I'm easily amused, this is like the third meat grinding video I've watched

  • It looks so nasty yet so delicious!

  • ...this is good for grinding up pesky Ewoks & annoying Gungans!...

  • i dont use meat grinders any more. ive seen people get their hands caught in these things

  • nice

  • Am I the only one who thinks of that Pink Floyd music video when I watch this?

  • be carful with your hands!

  • Actually that looks quite delicious!

  • After watching Sweeney Todd This makes me sick.

  • Imagine sticking your meat in there....

    Haaaaaaaa ;D

  • how much was it

  • I just want to have ground chicken and ground turkey, I'm guessing this works the same. how much is this grinder and do they come in smaller models, I doubt I'll need to consume 20 lbs of the stuff in a week

  • @kendrat199 Chicken and turkey are easy to grind and don't require a powerful grinder. They can easily be done manually.

  • It seems that a lot of the LEM grinders have weak tolerances and "back feed" Have other people noticed this?

  • oh fuck ya

  • A REAL man grinds his 23lbs of pure meat into a huge plastic tub. Fuck yeah

  • why am i watching this?

  • @radonas Beef Jerky....

  • I haven't found a grinder/stuffer yet that works for me. They all tend to over-emulsify the sausage. Maybe that works for some, but not for me. I use a dedicated stuffer (LEM 5lb stuffer with the metal gears).

Your plate seems to move a lot when you start it. Have you checked to see if everything is properly flat? I've found that every grinder I've used has plates/blades that are not ground flat. You'd be amazed at how much difference this makes.

  • Getting the 1hp grinder soon. I have been getting by with their heavy duty grinder...but I need something to cut my work and time down substantially. Have you stuffed sausage with the 1.75hp machine?

  • I have been looking at the LEM sausage stuffer and the Sausage Maker web site for the stuffer that they make. Both look pretty good.

  • I have the 1 hp Cabellas grinder and it works great grinding and stuffing sausage.

I do hate that so called safty me guard over the top feed so i cut mine off. I see now they make it removable. So far it is a great piece of equipment.

  • @exhaustedSpark

I believe the problem only is only with the 1 3/4 hp model.. Ive contacted cabelas about it and they were aware of the problem with this model and "supposedly" working on a fix... Otherwise this grinder rocks for grinding meat and I was just gonna buy a cabelas sausage stuffer as I love cabelas products and warranty but it appears there sausage stuffer isnt getting great reviews, so buying a stuffer from another company..

  • i want justin beibers hand in their

  • @TheTybo100 calm down buddy I know beiber is overrated but there no need for physical harm

  • God I wish I have 1000 to spend on a grinder...LOL Nice video!

  • where can I purchase this meat grinder?

  • @RitZalicious

    Cabelas

  • Man.. you gotta race to feed that thing, its awesome.

  • Just an update on this meat grinder for those that might be intrested in getting the 1 3/4 horsepower model. For grinding meat this thing rocks, but if you plan using any of the sausage stuffing attachments, dont waste your time and even more so dont waste your meat doing so.

  • @q2hunter78

Can you share your experience with making sausage on this grinder? What made it a waste of time and meat?

  • @edernest

Theres a design flaw in the auger head of the unit that when your doing any type of sausage, the meat just wants to backfeed in the head/auger part and turns the meat into mush and hardly pushes the meat through the stuffing tubes.. Cabela's is aware of the problem, now lets just see if it gets fixed...

  • 1 HP = 746 Watts

    1.75 x 746 = 1305.5 Watts

    1305.5 / 120 Volts = 10.9 Amps

The fact that "q2hunter78" is using this on a dedicated kitchen plug is a good thing. You're getting really close to what a normal household circuit can handle.

  • i think so its 750 watts

  • @rurmundo

    1305 Watts

  • ?????????? i think so the noises in this meat grinder its loud? how many powerful watts gots this meat grinder?

  • Actually the meat grinder is alot quieter in person than it betrays in the video.. Its boxed up and stored away for the season so i dunno the watts, try looking at cabelas and see if they list the specs for it..
