Everyone keeps having a bitch about which album is best.... surely the fact that they all have a difference between them is a good thing! regardless as to if ones more "mainstream" than the others... surely the fact that they can write an album like puzzle and now only revolutions AND still stand up and deliver older songs from blackened sky and vertigo of bliss with the same power just shows how great this band is!!! I love Puzzle and so far only revolutions. I regret to say that I haven't actually got any of their old albums (It's not my fault, I genuinely can't afford it right now!) but I love all of their old singles even more than puzzle like Questions and Answers, My Revovey Injection and Only One Word Comes to Mind. I love the new song on this video by the wayl. Stunning, as is always expected of Biffy Clyro. Mon the Biffy!

I have to say I really like Puzzle. I have been a Biffy fan since Infinity Land era (so no not from the beginning). I think its a very safe, quite commercial album but I still like it. So far Only Revolutions seems a little bit like old Biffy but is still lacking what they used to have. Saying that I still think the songs sound great. The first 3 are too hard to choose between for me

A lot of older fans don't like that Puzzle broke Biffy out in to a wider audience, it meant their precious secret became "mainstream". Also, Puzzle was prolly less experiemental because of the death of Simon's mother; of COURSE that was going to affect their song writing; it's their band they can write and sing about what they want. I've been a Biffy fan for a long time, I've heard all the albums, and Puzzle is my favourite.

it's not their slow stuff but Puzzle was just a bit less experimental and more of a safe game.

I like some of the songs, especially "get fucked stud" but overall i just think it's their weakest effort. BTW Most of these song still kick arse live (which might have been the intention anyway). I just hope their new album will be more experimental since that's the Biffy I've fallen in love with.

The Conversation Is... is a terrible song. The worst biffy song off any album. Actually Machines is pretty horrible too.

Oh and yes I have been a fan since 2002. But if the new album goes more the way of these songs rather than the good ones off puzzle (eg- Get Fucked Stud, Living is a Problem, 9/15ths) then I doubt I'll be a fan much longer.
