ok listen alot of people feel this way and every one is entitled to their opinion. I have been playing guitar for good amount of time and I can say that hendrix should be an inspiration to all. He created such a unique style of playing. Is hendrix stuff hard? no it's not, hendrix material is fairly simple. But playing something and creating it from scratch are two totally different things. Hendrix was an artist, one of the best of his time.

whaha do you respect the fact that it's out of key sometimes? or that his notes crack almost all the time. OK I understand the fact that steve himself also wouldnt play it exactly the same in a live performance but this is just crappy playin' and if you you dont see that then your not a real musician either.

I said I respect this kind of playing because it isn't a 100% copy of original...it's always great to see something played as it was first recorded, but I respect players who put their own stuff into the song more...and if this guys continues practicing and uploads a new video in few months, he will be the guy that gets comments like - Great improvisation! And someone who says something like: This is not good because it isnt exactly the same as original - can't tell me I'm not a real musician

the real sound is a lot more "open" to the world. Here it's liek you keep the emotion for yurself. It's a big part of the tone in fact. Use less bass in your sound, let it ring higher

good play, but be sure to sustain those notes out for the full length, no skipping out on the hol or you lose the effect. practice bending up to the right note. lastly, try to soften your picking so you can get a better tone.
