is it just me or does every diferent version of the ps2 have a diferent amount of boxes on the start sequence.

The number of boxes possibly has to do with different versions of firmware!? I Guess...

@incredableme63 No resistor needed, because the memory card has such a small voltage; just enough to power the LED.

@jedixo The boxes that appear on the start sequence are the amount of data that you have on the memory card
