at least it's not like the older Star Ocean games, you could just spam the melee button in combat and win. Now, it looks like you actually have to fight and think on the move. I'm gonna buy this

This is a great game for those who love the Tales Series. Their battle systems are completely different but they have underlying similarities. Its a great game for tales fan and the tales series would be good for fans of this game. Ive played both for a while and they are both amazing <3

This is a very entertaining game. It has some points where the game doesn't clearly state what you need to do. it also has some very annoying parts.It has a pretty good story line. i think they focused alot on the clip scenes though because its 3 discs. Its a great adventure and has some funny scenes. It has a good amount of boss battles. most of them aren't extremely hard to defeat.

In My opinion on a scale of 1 to 10 its an 8

You should have used Reimi to lure him from distance so he would have focus her, since he can' really deal damage at long range you're safe. I finished it full hp and mana. You just have to be careful of his kind of thorn he cast :P.

@DustApple Kind of in terms of battle mechanics. The story is way different though as it is much more techno babble sci-fi where as Tales games are in more of a fantasy setting. If you like Tales' battle scheme though I'd recommend giving any of the Star Ocean games a shot.

I've never played an rpg with the real time battles. So are your teammates AI that you specify to fight a certain way like(defend, all out, heal members) or just AI does whatever, or do you have to have live human players?

@TheJdc34life you set up your team in the menu before or during battle, some of the chars are like support magic so thier job is to heal anyway and the AI is smart enough to use healing items when needed and yes, you can choose to go all out/ attack but not use MP and stuff like that

I dont know why so many game sites put down infinite undiscovery. I played through the entire game and thought it was great! The character development was the best part as well. I'd say Infinite Undiscovery is even a little better than Star Ocean too. I'd recommend playing IU; you'd be surprised!

This boss was kinda easy to me. The other one on planet aeos was kinda easy too. Only hard part about that 1 is that the bugs its summons silences the mage casters so u can use farie light and restoration >.>

I know lol when I beat this boss I was like lvl 13 or 14 now I'm on Triom lvl 22. =) Oh and I beat this boss under 2 minutes with my skills. =)

Lol i agree with most of you i kept hitting him for like an hour not killing Armoros when i saw the glowy thingy then used earth glaive and killed it. P.s. when a enemy like the lizard warriors or he uses ice needles Jus strafe run around them to dodge it

There's a spot on him that he's really weak with. You can usually get access to it by using the blindsides. If you don't know how to do the blindsides, go into the combat trainer. I will also be putting up videos when I have time of me playing the game.

I had a really tough time with this boss too. I was at level 10. I tried hitting him many times on his shell side. Doing it enough exposes something shiny. Use Faize for the stabbing combos for that.

@yu58 it's not really, I used to own it. The boss battles are basically all the same, get them into break status(I don't remember if that is what it is called), and then hit them while their defenses are down. The game also leaves so many plot holes and juts throws in random things in the story that you ask yourself what it has to do with ANYTHING in the game.
