The Elric brothers did "wish you were here" when it came to their mom so it works with the lyrics. You should try a track from The Final Cut, a Momentary Lapse of Reason, or The Division Bell. I have A REALLY HARD TIME all of the people on here that posted rude ass comments are really Pink Floyd fans! I am open to covers of great songs and even though it's not as good as the original Pink Floyd version I totally see where you were going with the emotions and I like it!!!

i disagree about lapse and bell (huge roger waters fan) but final cut is my favorite floyd album. and i think some of the emotional battle scenes from full metal would go well with something like the post war dream or when the tigers broke free. nice suggestion.
