@04ATLien From what I've seen, not through medical expertise such as a dental technician, but from family and every day people and never noticed a decline in qaulity of teeth, but I'm still young and don't deal with teeth ;). I can also imagine a decline in health if not exercising regularly, I am of perfect health but again I'm young, but most of my family smoke and I ran a marathon with most of them as a tribute to my grandmother when she died last year..

i read smoking increases your chance of lung cancer by 7 times. However, your only 1% likely to get lung cancer thus making 7% of smokers get lung cancer, which is actually not that many if you think about it. You're more likely yo have heart conditions which kill you but imo you have to smoke a lot before youre in real risk of that. Still, cigs are rubbish. You dont even get a proper buzz so are way not worth the risks.

@04ATLien From what I've seen, not through medical expertise such as a dental technician, but from family and every day people and never noticed a decline in qaulity of teeth, but I'm still young and don't deal with teeth ;). I can also imagine a decline in health if not exercising regularly, I am of perfect health but again I'm young, but most of my family smoke and I ran a marathon with most of them as a tribute to my grandmother when she died last year..

i read smoking increases your chance of lung cancer by 7 times. However, your only 1% likely to get lung cancer thus making 7% of smokers get lung cancer, which is actually not that many if you think about it. You're more likely yo have heart conditions which kill you but imo you have to smoke a lot before youre in real risk of that. Still, cigs are rubbish. You dont even get a proper buzz so are way not worth the risks.

Maybe you should try quitting and do what I do. Clearly the nicotine has altered your thinking abilities. Someday when you have emphysema and need a lung transplant, don't come whining to me, I'll take all your cigarettes and shove them down your throat. I don't know how so many people are so dumb to smoke.

@deshy88umkc My mom smokes and is dying from something unrelated. She hears frequently what a disgusting habit she has. But, she never says how disgusting fat people are or how drinking/drunks disgust her. She has way too much class.

@ShellyO66 Well Im sorry to hear that your Mom is dying, but Im not sorry for saying that smoking is a disgusting habit. Not only is it harmful to one's body, but it harms people around the smoker. Plus, look down at the ground the next time you are at a busy intersection. You can't go to any street corner in America and not see cig butts. A good majority of smokers throw their butts on the ground when outside or in the car. Thats disgusting. At least fat people don't harm the people around them

@deshy88umkc Those busy intersections are busy with what? Cars. Pollution. What is "a good majority"? I would like some figures and I would like to know where you got them. Get over your holier-than-thou attitude that is indeed disgusting itself. And yes, fat people do harm the people around them. Who picks up the tab for their obesity, diabetes, heart problems, back problems etc...And watching fat people eat is so repulsive, it makes me physically ill.

@deshy88umkc On my run yesterday I took your advice and looked around. You know what I found???? Drinking straws and the paper from coffee shops outnumbered cigarette butts 3:1. I ran 7 miles. So will you please start your tangent on that NASTY Starbucks that is making our nation OBESE? The second hand trash? Those straws are NOT bio-degradable! OH MY GOD OH MY GOD...THE SKY IS FRICKIN' FALLING!!!!!
