Dude! Stop arguing! I'm in the lewisburg band and was then and I agree we BOTH worked our you-know-whats off! I actually like Columbia's show and you guys did very well! But this wasn't rigged. That year, we worked so friggin hard, as did Columbia, and I have nothing against them. Both bands are brilliant. Point taken, this was 2 years ago. It's time to move on.

i was in columbia band and i can tell you the reason they buy all those props is not to win state its to put a good show for the crowd. not the judges. and the reason they had the money to buy all that stuff was from donations and many fundraisers because honestly the band is all columbia mississippi has. and maybe if you would stop talkin so much shit about each other and realize that everybody in both bands have amazing talents that God gave to you yall could actually be friends

They put several kids into DCI and Lions Band every year. Columbia doesn't do that. Don't try to tell me they do because I know. You may have worked your ass off but they worked harder. There is always someone out there bigger and better. I hate this we're entitled to a state championship because we're Columbia Bull. Get over yourselves.

Columbia drumline, you're not a college drumline, so I wouldn't try to tune your drums like that. Your snare drums would sound great on a snare line of around 10, but they are too dry for a snare line of 3. Great playing though :)

You should have spent more time on improving your percussion than having pyramids and mummies and all that extra crap.

You can go to the MHSAA website and see the scores, your percussion was in the mid 70's in both prelims and finals.

I loved your show in the stands but the scores dont lie.

This should make next year all the better.

DCI judges should not judge high school competitions, and festivals. Their standards are set to professional level musicians. Therefore the high students suffer due to the ridiculously high standards that are set forth. The festivals should only be judges by other high school band directors. Not college level, or professional level musicians. These kids are here to have a good time. Not be picked with a comb by picky old men.

OMG!! I love this Band. I was there...I am in Big Red from Kosciusko ...We got 6th place in the state :)) I abosultly love to watch this band I am so glad I got to see them in Pearl And Oak Grove . GO COLUMBIA!!

Well, to answer your question what Egptian has to do with Arabian, Arabian refers to Arab people. Ancient Arabia was a nomadic culture that spanned from Egypt to Mesopotamia. So anything in that area has an Arabian culture imprint left on it.
