Como me gusta este tema!!!! me hace acordar cuando iba a bailar en el año 79 a KAMOTE en lanús, pero lo peor no es porque en esa epoca tenia 18 años, es que ahora tengo 50!!!!!!!!!
@szwedzkiPL Yes.... this single is one of the most significant tune of its time and one of the biggest contribution of Italian music to world dance sound!
Sacada de internet: Dancer Let your body free now Dancer If you want to feel good Dancer Got to get a move on Dancer Try to take it higher Dancer CHORUS You never knew the power of your body But when you keep on dancing to the music You reach up high into the sky Dancer Got to get a move on Dancer If you want to feel good Dancer Keep your body shaking Dancer Try to take it higher Dancer
mucha verdad eso si era verdadera musica que ritmos que contagiaban a todos , nada que ver con la basura musical que se produce hoy en dia....dancer ...dancer...dancer....

Go back to 1991 and bust a move with MC Hammer. Corny? No, this song was intentionally factitious of the collapsing discotheque scene of 1979. You did not consider the context of what and which drugs were flooding the clubs at the time of this song's production. It seems that you don't comprehend the club culture of Europe & the East Coast as it was in 1979/1980. This song was never meant to be taken seriously.
Thanks a lot for posting this great disco song, maybe one of the best in that time. I like read in this page that young people like this kind of music for their parents and can enjoy it and compare it with the modern music. Thanks Gino Soccio!!! thanks FABRICIOJAVIER!!! both are great!! From Veracruz Mexico.
Dude, this is way more than funky! It's tribal :-) I play jazz, and him and George Clinton are the only people I listen to from this era. He was truly ahead of his time (just like Rod Templeton, from Heatwave).
I played it back in the day as a dj for pandora's in Dudley just outside Birmingham, England, I was often told I was too advanced musically......... I love the line at 3:19 into the track & you could see people singing the hearts out in there own little world, Fantastic days. look at the dance scene in UK now !
I'm 50 and still playing and still using this track & some young dj will say is this new and is it on beatport !!! :) long live disco
Ho avuto questo disco tra i primi in Italia, acquistato a Roma da "Ricordi".Questo brano in particolare è ben costruito, non va ritoccato o stravolto, va bene anche oggi e per chissà quanto tempo ancora.
First drum machines, first modular sequencers, but this guy never forgot the rock-touch: the guitar riff. The techno bands of those times did not use guitars: ah! and a powerfull bass with common piano. Gino Soccio not only used machines: He was a great musician.
Probably his best track. This man was a genius when it came to making Disco. Remember the guys wearing "Disco Sucks" shirts in Queens, they were typically long haired Led Zeppelin fans, it's all good, good memories.
