  • 2:08 "you guys remember all the stuff we did this morning?" Lol

  • i like how there is no dislikes

  • It's not bad but the difference and lack of technique makes them look horrible

  • @connorkmoran It's Hawaii, not southern California...

  • Clean it up and this would be a sweet cadence

  • I think that this drumline borrowed a specific drum sequence from The Cavaliers. It's apparent in the second tune. Not that there's anything wrong with doing that at all. If you're going to borrow a drum pattern you might as well borrow it from a top drum corps such as The Cavaliers. Look up the DCI cavaliers 2002 show called "Frameworks". This particular part of their show was also called fight club.

  • @RECON4NOW dude its college band not DCI plus they just do it to have fun not to compete like dci...

  • @KauaiBallerof2012 yea I know they're a college band. I just didn't want people to get the impression that that song belonged to them when they clearly borrowed it from The Cavaliers.

  • @KauaiBallerof2012 good to know others think the same way too man

  • 3rd guy from left looks stupid throughout this whole thing.

  • pretty simple stuff/:

  • @2317aguilar they're smiling aren't they? ;)

  • @GregTheWhat that one chick on the right is lol

  • i heard the cookie!

  • haha...such a drum corps infulence....*cavaliers 2002***cough* haha

  • Did anybody notice that someone says cookie in fight club before the drumline says you.

  • @harold34211

hehe, he actually says Ricky. it was an inside joke that year. =P

  • FIGHT CLUB!

  • SICK toms in the first tune

  • Liking the snare part at 1:05.

  • a little more discipline would be nice.

  • @bradfordseaton Agreed... and maybe some clean beats? Lol

  • ohh yea!!! nice

  • 4:17 epic.

  • werddd

  • excellent!

  • all the snare drumers are funny as hell

  • daaaammmmmmmnnnn.....haha, check out some dci guys....clean it up yo, its more fun clean, promise ya

  • dude they dont need to sound like dci because they arenot like that they are one of those who like to hae fun with it for example rice university is like that

  • point taken.....but its quite possible to do both....fun and clean, without a tech i know its real hard to clean stuff cuz ppl use diff. techniques, but still.....theres def a line that a drumline can cross as far as having fun and just being dirty and not caring

  • awsome!!!!

  • LOL! I love these! These are the kinds of cadences we have here on the south side; I always hate how the richer high schools have cadences that show off rudiments and skill. Skill don't mean crap if the cadences don't have any feeling or groove. That's why we always won our drumline battles ;].

  • just having fun

    5 stars!

  • and the same drums

  • saint louis uses the same harnesses as them.

  • You guys are bitchin' i swear! Seriously, you all have the right idea about playing marching band percussion. Your cadences aren't terribly difficult, but they sound fantastic, you love to play them and you let people know it. It's refreshing to see something other than Grit on the faces of marching percussionist. THANK YOU UH FOR KEEPING DRUMMING REAL!

  • When I have my own band some day, my drum line had better be as spirited as you are.

  • haha the middle snare is jammin

  • you guys are my inspiration! (:

  • Anybody know the name of this piece?

  • Comment removed

  • which one

  • the first one they start out with

  • It's an original composition called "Chocolate Chode"

  • Fight Club is awesome!

What are they spelling with their sticks at the end of the video?

  • They spell "WHAT !" with their sticks

  • rolls are dirty sounds like interpitation issues otherwise good

  • =P really dirty

  • just like your mama likes it...:-P

  • 2:30 sounds like the drum break from the 2002 dci cavies show frameworks it sounds identical

  • haha...it totally does

  • lol i think it is

  • Fight Club!

  • I was just listening to that Cavies show and I thought that and I was going to come on here and say that they sound so alike... but you already did. But I agree! I wonder which had it first...

  • that's probably cuz it is

  • It kinda looks like Zac has a mohawk

  • cant wait to hear it once those snare heads are tuned...

    :-P

  • 5:46

lmfao, it amazes me that Zac can moonwalk in time but not hop.
