@TheVATHAPI Cost of living is really what you make work. I would say that 8000¥ is more than enough to live comfortable per month in Hangzhou. As long as you are living in a one bedroom apartment and so on. Nothing horribly excessive. Food is cheap. Ex. You can buy a watermelon for about US.75¢. Good food is less than a US dollar from street markets. Rent in a standard "western" apartment is about 3000-4000¥/m. The climate is nice, nothing too extreme. Lowest is est. 3C. Summer highs are 32-33C.

@TheVATHAPI You could however live on much less if you chose too. Like I said, it depends on what you find comfortable.
