can only use this with an apple tv...they could of easily incorporated this into the ability to mirror to a computer or google tv, boxee, or roku. Apple tv is such a jip...just a box you pay for, to then pay for when u want to rent. Good thing they got devices out there already that let you mirror to other devices, but sad that apple doesnt give you that option instead of 3rd parties

If this is only for you tube videos, etc. I have a bluray player with apps loaded that I use for that. Please advise if all functions (apps) would work. What is the cost of Airplay and Apple TV? @UgotHacked35000vr don't give me that bullshit tablets have been streaming to displays for years now and it just gets more sophisticated as time moves on... all nintendo has done is to take the same idea and includes buttons... the bottomline is that if you believe nintendo was the first to do this then you're clearly a moron you probably also think nintendo was the first to use analogs ( vectrex ) or do light gun gaming ( magnavox shooting ) or touchscreens for games ( various smartphones )

@DarkT15LIVE2 iPad 1 actually is a pretty slow device that can't handle passing this much data. The apple tv is necessary because there's no uniform technology in TVs to do this. Panasonic, Sony, Samsung, LG, Toshiba, etc. don't brand together to do anything.
