Some singers seem to always have, not only the need but, the ability to deliver a very meaningful vocal performance into their later years. Bravo .. it allows us lesser beings the chance to enjoy and appreciate them even longer. Keep on guys.. we appreciate it a bunch! Most of us can only dream of having such a wonderful voice to share with others at any time during our lives let alone in our later years. bustup, I think Johnny Mathis is pretty good even though he is 71 years old, he still has a powerful voice. Engelbert is very special and can really sing these ballads, with or without a microphone.
