@bigkiwial because as you can see at 0:52 the kite is still filling. if you blow the sheets it wouldn't happen, kite will always fill no matter how long the sheets are
@bigkiwial because like in the video, the kite will just keep filling, if the sheets are gone then the rig will come straight upright with just the kite flogging. Much more safe
@ace0pilot Nope, you must have an emergency drop scenario, ALWAYS lose the halyard first, never ever let go the pole end, the chute will just fly out like a big handkerchief, even big ones not tiny ones like that, if the sheets go then you end up with the biggest flag in the fleet and look like a complete incompetent, the reason they looked like they were attempting kite surfing was because they had no friggin idea!!
Why not to tie knots on your spinnicar sheets!
