Well they run off 9V's(dont' think there are any currently produced electro guns that run on anything else) but i'm not sure how long the battery lasts. It really depends on how often you have the thing on when you're not shooting it or playing with it.
It used to be true, not as much so now. The Ion and Shockers were shit but the new Shocker comes with decent features and good price, Ion just has BOB body(it still sucks). Their new EOS, Vibe, and SP1 guns are good for the price. EOS still needs a new board, it comes with the same old crap board, new Shockers come with a good new board.
It's not as bad as it may seem. It's a relatively quiet marker compared to most. I was on my padio which has an overhanging roof and when I'm in there shooting the sound just reverberates right back and makes it seem alot louder than it is.
I bought it back before the price for the materials it's made of went up so only paid 150. Think they're about 175, but you might be able to find them around for cheaper.
u broke my freaking vibe (they use the same board). When you attach the battery when holding down the trigger you break the board and it only releases air through the grips!
Since this is a fully electro-pnuematic gun then yea you have to have the gun turned on for it to fire. As long as you turn it off between uses and don't leave it on and sitting around for long periods of time the 9V should last you a good bit, I also remove the battery after i'm done using it for the day, that will also help increase life.
you mean to change to select fire mode? keep trying little more, can be pain sometimes and if it still doesn't change then how recent is your gun? if its one of the originals from when it was first released then they don't have the select fire feature
I don't know if the blackhearts out yet but if you got one you could just install it like anyother board, i know virtue has one avaliable for it, and on how to set it up its just what ever best suits you and your gun and how/where you play
i have the same problem like RA1735,but my sp1 say that it is "semi-full" in its case?can you write me what i must do cause i might dont understand what you say...thank you
you just have to buy a stock plate adapter which replaces the "backplate" were you get access to the bolt out back, once you have this adapter you can take any 98 custom stock and use it.......if you need help finding some adapters just mssg me and i'll get you some links
no, it starts with locked semi, to change it you disconnect the battery and then hold the trigger down and reconnect it, if you do it correctly the power button will flash twice for select-fire, and repeat the process to go back to semi only(one blink)
I thought when you disconnected the battery and held the trigger down changes the dwell between c02 and HPA ?

GrabASpoonEatMyAss 2 years ago
How many shots do you get out of the double AA battery?
GrabASpoonEatMyAss 2 years ago
Well they run off 9V's(dont' think there are any currently produced electro guns that run on anything else) but i'm not sure how long the battery lasts. It really depends on how often you have the thing on when you're not shooting it or playing with it.
grimer512345 2 years ago
Is this with a blackheart board? or stock?
TheresNoNamesLeft4Me 2 years ago
Does the light always flash or does it stop after a while?
1TopGunPaintballer 2 years ago
It's always on, other wise you wouldn't be able to tell if the gun is turned on or has shut off.
grimer512345 2 years ago
I just ordered mine last night. Should be here in 2 to 3 days. I'm pretty pumped. :D
lemmietheclown 2 years ago

grimer512345 2 years ago
What kind of barrel threads does the sp 1 take? Thanks!
seth2s 2 years ago
Any Ion, Impulse, Epiphany, EOS, or Vibe barrel threads
grimer512345 2 years ago
is it tru that everything stock that comes with smart parts guns sucks? i got a vs2 and i like it betta then the ions
jonp2x4 2 years ago

grimer512345 2 years ago
when you do the trigger and connect the battery thing isnt that for selecting between co2 and hpa cause thats what is on the smart parts web site
KillerK1w1 2 years ago
Is it a good gun because i might be getting it soon?
NoResponse22 2 years ago
It's an awsome gun, works perfect for what it's made for and is pretty cheap. Hasn't failed me yet.
grimer512345 2 years ago
That is a LOUD gun!
DavidHise 3 years ago
I hope there's sarcasm in there :P
grimer512345 3 years ago
Nah, I'm serious. Unless I just have my speakers up too loud (which is quite the possibility), it's a freaking loud marker.
DavidHise 3 years ago
It's not as bad as it may seem. It's a relatively quiet marker compared to most. I was on my padio which has an overhanging roof and when I'm in there shooting the sound just reverberates right back and makes it seem alot louder than it is.
grimer512345 3 years ago
I have heard louder markers. But yeah, that makes sense.
DavidHise 3 years ago
does it always come with the select fire mode
097421 3 years ago
Yes
grimer512345 3 years ago
dude thats nice my first gun was a spyder sonix but the sp1 is my next gun. How much did it cost u 4 just the gun?
koolaidkidz67 3 years ago
I bought it back before the price for the materials it's made of went up so only paid 150. Think they're about 175, but you might be able to find them around for cheaper.
grimer512345 3 years ago
do you have to buy anything extra for this to work ?
KeatonSmarty 3 years ago
Nope, this mode comes stock on all the SP1's and Vibe's.
grimer512345 3 years ago
so u just connect the battery while holding the trigger down, that seems pretty simple
KeatonSmarty 3 years ago
Yep, it will either blink once for Semi Only or twice for Select-Fire
grimer512345 3 years ago
u broke my freaking vibe (they use the same board). When you attach the battery when holding down the trigger you break the board and it only releases air through the grips!
DO NOT TRY THIS!
halofreak252 3 years ago
cant you use co2 for that?
collinfarris34 3 years ago
Yep
grimer512345 3 years ago
Which is better Alpha Black or Sp1?
warriorlax15kast 3 years ago
I'd say SP1 because it's an actual electropnuematic gun. I'd rather have one over a blowback.
grimer512345 3 years ago
does it have to be turned on for semi auto and if so how long does the battery last
murphyz40 3 years ago
Since this is a fully electro-pnuematic gun then yea you have to have the gun turned on for it to fire. I tried doing what you said but mine still doesnt change, any advice?
RA1753 3 years ago
you mean to change to select fire mode? keep trying little more, can be pain sometimes and if it still doesn't change then how recent is your gun? if its one of the originals from when it was first released then they don't have the select fire feature
grimer512345 3 years ago
Yes it is one of the originals so thatll be why
RuA118 3 years ago
If you'd like for the select-fire you can just contact smart parts and they will swap it for the updated board like mine has
grimer512345 3 years ago
Can you it buy a board for like the SP blackheart if so how would you set it up
RA1753 3 years ago
I don't know if the blackhearts out yet but if you got one you could just install it like anyother board, i know virtue has one avaliable for it, and on how to set it up its just what ever best suits you and your gun and how/where you play

i have the same problem like RA1735,but my sp1 say that it is "semi-full" in its case?can you write me what i must do cause i might dont understand what you say...thank you
disme547 3 years ago
Maybe someone can answer this: I have a J&J Ceramic barrel, and I need to know if the Spyder threads are the same as smart parts threads.
madpaintbalerx 3 years ago
spyder threads are not the same as the smart parts ones
grimer512345 3 years ago
ok, thanks. I thought I read that they were, but it must have been spyder and something else.
madpaintbalerx 3 years ago

Sweet vid though. :)
Deanmcintyre5000 3 years ago
