dont jump my case if im wrong but i'm pretty sure that bassists don't use picks because the strings are too thick my friends plays bass and i play guitar

It all depends on the style of music you play, harder sounding genres like punk and metal bassists are known for using picks, similarly funk and blues bassists are known to use primarily their fingers. It's all about preference really though. When I played bass before moving up to guitar I used a pick.

there's a hell of alot easier way to play this you know. play it on the 12th fret of the a string moving down to the tenth and then onto the twelfth on the d string. I don't like not having alot of string left up top. Doesnt give as nicer tone. Fair play though, it's a great cover.
