  • LOVE YOU!

  • mark chaoman is a wittle DEMON!

  • I just got "And In The End The Love You Take Is Equal To The Love You Make" tattooed today

    =D

  • Song of the year 2012

  • @beatleep. That was not Ringo Starr playing the drum solo, but it was Paul McCartney. @AndrewMarkFlorence. The Beatles did not record this song all together, It was Paul McCartney who played all the instruments on the second side of Abbey Road.

  • @life49786 Ringo did play the solo. And every Beatle played on side two.

  • Ironically the last song all four beatles recorded together... :(

What a way to go mind!

  • I'm addicted to this song.

  • All four Beatles have solos in this song. I jizz my pants every time I think of them dueling (?) guitars.

  • Did Paul really die?

  • @NovemberRemember11

no, he's still alive and well :D

  • @NovemberRemember11 He's still alive and kicking.

  • Thumbs up for Ringo's only drum solo in the whole 8 years of the Beatles.

  • i love this song but when they say 'the love you take is equal to the love... you make' i can't stop thinking 'making love... is having sex right?'

  • oh yeah, allright!

are you gonna be in my dreams tonight?

    -drum solo-

  • That guitar solo trade off is awesome.

  • I'M OBSESSSED WITH THIS SONG!!!

  • @Gingerisgoofy you should hear tenacious d (Jack Black) medley of beatles, they play this

  • @Macknsteez this is exactly why songs like this aren't being made pieces of shit like you have to ruin stuff this that's the reason that era ended look at how many people like this your one of the idiots who doesn't appreciate fine music

  • woops, I was looking for the doors the end and I accidentally stumbled upon this shit. oh well, 2 down 2 more to go!

  • in only 29 words, the Beatles just made me the happiest I've been all day.<3

  • love you take = love you make ... simple math.

  • 21 ppl didnt want the end so they disliked it i liked it because i liked the song :) amazing

  • The End of 2011. ;)

  • sad butt true 8-)

  • up our nos it gos! cmok

    ! :-))))))))))))

  • The guitar solo at the end gives me chills.

  • I LOVE THE BEATLES!!!!!!

  • \:D/

  • just got accepted into one of my first choice colleges...this song completely illustrates my excitement! beatles forever!

  • After 2:20 was the day The Music Died.

  • @StrikeForce20 youre wrong, was the day the platinum age of music died, then the golden one (black sabbath, ozzy osbourne, AC/DC) borned

  • @SonGokuHayabusa true true

  • Real Music doesn't go out of style in 3 months -_-

  • "..And In the end the love you take is equal to the love you make..." - 1st Law of Thermodynamics by The Beatles

  • @flaviusfurius can i readthat book?

  • And in the end the love you take is equal to the love you make.

    Best lyrics in this song...

  • @MeLiiLilly Best in any song.

  • Never did get how people could criticise Ringo's drumming. It may not be the most technically difficult piece of drumming ever, but it perfectly underpins the rhythm of the song and fits well with the arrangement of the other instruments. Isn't that what a good drummer's supposed to do? This song is probably one of the best examples of Ringo's work. Haha, look at me pretending I know what I'm on about. Ah well, I don't care - It sounds alright to me.

  • @SuperQweertyuiop it sounds right dude. i'm glad some ppl can grasp the message of these songs. unfortunately some ppl that have to b in me life feel love isnt important... but it's all u need in me bloody book!

  • @SuperQweertyuiop Exactly. Give a listen to "I Feel Fine" and "Rain" and "Tomorrow Never Knows" and "She Said She Said" and "Baby You're a Rich Man", and then just TRY to call him a lousy drummer.

[Incidentally, if anyone wonders, the order of the guitar solos (0:54-1:30) goes: Paul/George/John/Paul/George/John/Paul/George/John]

  • thumbs up if you think the beatles still are the best

  • @shinypokemonify You dont need to make a comment asking if people think the beatles are the best. People will all arive to that conclusion on their own time.

  • @shinypokemonify like a newer band would of take that spot away

  • @shinypokemonify And always will be!

  • @shinypokemonify what do u mean think they are

  • Pure Gold, The Best of the Best.

  • i always pretend to do his drum solo!!

  • in ringos drum solo i tap the table and pretend im doing the drum solo! its so catchy! :P

  • just...just..beautiful:)))

  • i thought that i had heard every beatles song, and they were my favorite band by far.

I thought that the beatles couldnt get any better.

But then i found the end.

  • @slamitwills13 you need to listen to all of their albums, especially from rubber soul onwards.

  • @gorgolyt i have? im just saying that i didnt know about the end til about 2 months ago. PS: Rubber soul came out in 1965 while abbey road was released 1969 and is also their last recorded album.

  • @slamitwills13 ...i know.

  • @gorgolyt ok? haha :D

  • I wanted this to be our class song but I forgot to submit it :/

  • @freethetech i want all my loving to show up at girls choice and the guy i like to ask me to dance while that song is playing

  • @KobeConfidence Good luck ;)

  • @freethetech hahaha thanks. i'm gunna ask him to girl's choice and request that song...

  • This is the Beatles saying goodbye!!

  • i got 100% on the drum solo in the beatles rockband

  • The day Sir James Paul McCartney leaves this world is the day I will cry the hardest.

    I love you, Paul. <3

  • BEATLES ARE THE BEST SO FUCK YOU CHICH094

  • u guys quit fucking around with @chich094. he's right. NO BAND COMES CLOSE TO THE BEATLES!!!!!!!!!!!

  • awesome - Paul, John and George trading lead guitar licks....

  • @ThePrehistoricsBand the good die young im afraid. but umm there is a good possibility john's coming back....

  • @KobeConfidence sorry, just gotta say this, but when i read "there is a good possibility john's coming back" it was like i momentarily forgot that he was gone. so thank you, even just for that moment. T_T

  • @ariaaspromised yeah but i may be his reincarnation or wateva so maybe i'll cause a big peaceful change too... ( and hopefully i won't die the same bloody way, that'd be annoying T_T )

  • Actually Ringo didn't like drum solos, so when they were recording the song, they played the drum solo part along with guitars, but McCartney removed the guitars, so only the drums could be heard.

This is just one more Beatles fact, spread it.

  • the drums <3

  • 21 people are BEGENING a long and painfull time..........

  • kick-ass drum S0L0

  • an amazing ending, and sad ending, to the greatest musicians, most complete band, most influencial band, best at a lot of things in turn the best band of all time

  • Yes i will be in your dreams tonight thanks for asking XD

  • MAKE LOVE NOT DRUGS!!!!!!!!

  • This guitar solo is probably the best ever.

  • This guitar solo is probably the best ever.

  • ringo is too fucking awesome.

  • i did that solo for at least 10 minutes straight in math class and nobody said anything when my friend was taping his pencil on the desk my teacher got mad :D drum solo for the win

  • gosh, When Paul sing "is equal to the love... you make" it kills me, so beautiful,

  • Ringo's solo is sick..

  • Comment removed

  • @benom888 why do you think they called it the end xD

  • @benom888 Why would it be ironic... Do you know what irony is? It WOULD be ironic if the song was called "The Beginning" so...

  • THANK YOU ENGLAND.

  • @MinatoNamekaze4 i need to go to england!!!! and @OwlviewProductions can they beatles have ironic names and change the title of the song to the beginning?

  • And in the end, the love the Beatles made.

Is no longer even to the love... today.

  • @ZancHOS47 well dude im trying really hard to bring that looove back! my lang.arts teacher says ill definitely do something with all my love. ( hopefully i wont be assasinated by hateful pplz )

  • Swear "The End" of this song sends shivers down my spine gotta love The Beatles.

  • And in the end

    The love you take

Is equal to the love you make.

  • @hgcvbcvb This is so true....

  • @hgcvbcvb It's true.

  • The Last song recorded by The Beatles

  • This song makes me want to cry :'(

  • @popsgal100 when i die u guys'll be responsible for playing this at me funeral. or if the " apocolipiz" comes first then i will die playing this song.

  • @KobeConfidence personally i think at a funeral the song should be 'staying alive' or 'still standing' xD that would be legend.

But if not, then i'd have this, in my life, or let it be :')

  • @TheBeatlesPhenomenon im having imagine, jelous guy, the end, in my life, and finally all my loving. GUESS WHAT?! YOU ALL R INVITED TO ME FUNERAL! and please dont b all morbid there. its okay, death is only the begining ;-)

  • @KobeConfidence well if i die i might see george and john, so in that way im excited! is that wrong? :L ah well, i'll be there!

  • @TheBeatlesPhenomenon yeah but dont look towards death like that man, live the life u've been given and make the most of it. hell, most of the ppl born on me b-day have died horrid deathes for being peace activists, but im not scared ima go out and teach about peace through.... • god when i hear this luvely peaceful song i think "dang it! i'll never be as good at writing lyrics to songs as these guys! let alone guitar parts!" then i get all deppressed and then i write a really cool peace message that comes right outa the bluuuuue

  • lol i grew up at a time where my dad owned tons of beatles cds and wouldnt sing and neither would me mum, cos she wos sleeping so these four wonderful liverpool lads lulled me to sleep

  • 0:40 george looks like me winking

  • whats ironic is this is the last thing they ever recorded....the end to a great journey :' )

  • @jmiester25 its not that ironic because they did it on purpose

  • @piperglees9 lol ya got me

  • @jmiester25 No this is not the very last song they recorded, listen to "real love" or "free as a bird"

If you mean with all 4 beatles together, then yes, it is the last.

  • @themaniacboy freee as a bird i think is the last one.... it was recorded with george paul and ringo. unfortunately this was after john died and yoko thought it'd be a good idea to finish it up. which it was.

  • elvis changed the music THE BEATLES changed the world

  • What a way to say goodbye.

  • The End :'(

  • Nice drum solo ;)

  • and in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make

  • Comment removed

  • Cant beleive the solo was mccartney, harrison, and lennon taking turns during the solo

  • @Enjoi267 What do you mean?

  • There's no band in the history that can compare with the beatles.

  • @chich094 Pink Floyd comes close.

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • @glb1010 Sure, but the styles are different : P You could say that The Beatles and Pink Floyd are at the head of the great revoluión of music

  • @chich094 Agreed.

  • @chich094 True.

  • @chich094 The Black Dahlia Murder is better than The Beatles. BY FAR.

  • @Immortalitatem Beatles = Revolutionized music incorporating new sounds, instruments, arrangements, harmonies, recording techniques, etc, etc, etc. The Black Dahlia Murder = Seriously?

  • @chich094 Actaully, The Black Dahlia Murder=blast beats, melodic, brutal, dark, poetic, and heavy. Go look up the song Deathmask Divine. The lyrics are far better than the Beatles.

  • @chich094 and look up "Conspiring with the Damned"

  • @Immortalitatem beatles rules, black DUHlia murder you ass

  • @chich094 well actually Led Zeppelin but okay. The Beatles music is damn good but simple. John Bonham is far better than Ringo Starr. Robert Plant can easily out sing Paul or Lennon.

  • @BeyondLightedStage like hell he can!!!!!!! lennon sings like a bloody greek god!!!! but that one guy can outsing mcCarntney

  • @chich094 actualy, just three bands, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and Rolling Stones

  • @KenjiCorleone I LOVE all of them, but I think Pink Floyd is the only one who revolutionate the music as The Beatles.

  • OH YEAH!

  • People disliked it because they wish the beatles were still together

  • @Link74850 well the way i heard it, johnny eventually had tons of arguements with mccartney -_- and mccartney just kinda bossed them around. and then when they broke up mccartney sued johnny, georgie and ringo.

  • @KobeConfidence he sued to break up a corporation, so he could do solo work

  • @tranurse well his solo work isnt good! it SUCKSSSSSSS. if i could live and sue john george and ringo or die and not sue them i would be a dead woman.

  • @KobeConfidence i like most of it. he wrote from a different place than john and george. he was married, had babies and was happy for a lot longer than george and john were. nothing wrong with being happy. maybe i'm amazed is a great song, so is 'calico skies'. however, i will admit that 'spies like us' was crap.

  • @tranurse well i just dont like paul, im sorry but he doesnt write good music without joo00oohny boy! they really brought out the best in each other, john already had his best always out but the others... i miss them terribly * starts bawling* :''''-(

  • @KobeConfidence Well, they were all talented on their own. i like all of them, paul is probably my favorite. i hate that they aren't together, but i think they all had to find their own lives. but, it's all opinion. nothing more or less. take care.

  • @tranurse john will always be in the highest spot possible in me heart. john did a better solo carreeer than paul. my oppinion. take care love.

  • The only thing I dont like about this song is the last song....WHY!!!! :'(

  • @Link74850 thats just the way things are don't beat yourself up over it!

  • @KobeConfidence I know, but it still sucks :(

  • @Link74850 yeah true so very true

  • i love this song so bloody much! u musicians r going on mi new playlist!

  • DOC, YOU ARE A MUSIC GOD! boo to you!

  • oh ya! all right!

  • @ariaaspromised Actually, She's So Heavy was the last song all 4 worked on, but I totally agree with you.

  • The end of this song makes me feel so extrange

  • for the 20 people who disliked this video, it will be the end for u

  • happy birthday ringo Starr :)

  • the number of views of this video tells you just how few of us truly know the history of the beatles. compared to the millions of views the other songs get, it's a shame that only a considerably few number of beatles fans know about this song, considering how this was one of the last songs, if not the very last song, ever recorded by all four beatles in the studio. so yeah, cheers to us! hahaha

  • But what about the next album after Abbey Road, Let it be? Were they not in the studio together for that one?

  • @Philmcnab i think let it be was recorded before this. but due to some legal issues it was released after the end.

  • @ariaaspromised after checking out wikipedia you have been indeed been shown to be correct! Abbey Road was indeed the last Beatles album to be recorded, although not last to be released. Sorry for doubting you

  • Comment removed

  • Today are 54 years since Paul McCartney was introduced to John Lennon by a mutual friend Ivan Vaughan. One of the most historic dates of the 20th century! Congratulations all Beatles fans all over the world :)

  • Requesting this at my funeral.. :(

  • who doesnt feel like crying at this song. i think it migt be the most sadest song ive ever heard. im sad :'( waaaaaa DX

  • These where parts of songs the beetles where working on and never really completed I believe it was George martin's Idea to take all of the pieces and make something out of it. George Matin was a brilliant man. George also played a lot of the Keyboard parts in beetle tunes. I love this tune. Thanks for posting c];-)

  • @1dockthorwho23

    *BEATLES

  • You look at a band like Led Zeppelin and you can hear how the overall quality of their music seemed to decrease from album to album. As the tides of the music industry shift a band usually strays so far out of comfortable territory and far away from that sound we know and love. The Beatles were one of those rare bands that got consistently more sophisticated and more fresh with each album. They started off as another pop band and evolved into that amazingly artful entity we hear here.

  • @Nisshoku1729 Wow, that was a deep coment. Bravo, my friend..

  • @Nisshoku1729 I wouldn't be sure about they decreasing from album to album. they got better and better until Led Zeppelin IV, then, they didn't have any aspect that needed to be increased, so they kept as good until Physical Grafitti, then they started decreasing.

  • @Nisshoku1729 right on

  • @Nisshoku1729 they r actually a rock band

  • @lgeklsflz They were a rock band that played what was then pop music. My definition of a pop band is one whose music and lyrics are almost engineered to garner the widest audience and garner sensation. The swill that they churned out in their early days such as please please me was among what I would call pop. What I love, however, is that they evolved into so much more than what they were at the start.
