Not 2 mension that thouse riffs that i have heard on the show where less then basic!!! Muse makes this look allmost as Rhiana!! I would never understand why people want the monkey to stay like they were in 2005... Adolescents knowing only four power chords and using only distorsion?

It was great but suck it and see and Humbug are awsome! I mean there's musicality, effects, work on the sound, special atmosphere... There's a real musical work and I'm pretty sure that good musicians like the monkeys prefer playing technical music than four simple chords....

@albannarbonne I don't think it's really about people disliking the way Arctic Monkeys play, apart from people maybe wanting a couple more fast, energetic songs but that's why we've got Suck It and See.

It seems that people are more frustrated at how they've changed lyrically. WPSIATWIN has been described as an album about the "the lives of young Northern England clubbers" and that's a lot of people miss. I'm 22 their first 2 albums connect with me more than Humbug. Ah well, to each his own...
