  • That is one of the worst political advertisements I've ever seen. What a loser. What business does he have messing with women's rights over their own fertility?

    Loser.

  • vote ron paul, he is religious too, but won't force it upon ANYBODY. He wants to save the constitution unlike any other candidate and NOT put it under god like huckabee wants. Darwin forbid! hahaha

I am not a religious man myself but there is a freedom to express it, but not force it on others. Vote Ron Paul

  • Wow I like Mike Huckabee´s, he´s the american dream, america it´s in a war, but that war it´s not in irak , it´s inside america, America has the power, but the war it´s not with bombs or missiles, the war is about convictions and i think Mike is what america and the world needs. greetings from europe.

  • The full extent of Huckabee's foreign policy experience is breakfast at the local International House of Pancakes...and it shows!

  • mike j=huckabee said that homosexuality is sin like muder and is a health risk to society what a lunatic. I don't get how people can think that about others just cause it's not their own preference. ridiculous. and banishing AIDS people?! Oh and having president of CFR as his policy advisor. NWO puppet...... look it up nationalexpositor(dot)com/News/840.html

  • I believe there are way too many smart young people out there who understand same-sex orientation and know it is an inborn trait and people should have equal rights to love whomoever they choose. I don't think Huckabee promotes civil liberties for gay people. The young (smart) people in this country won't stand for bigotry of this sort anymore. We have dealt with it under Bush and we see the mess we are in. If this country wants to move forward we can't possibly vote for huckabee.

  • Huckabee tries to copy Ron Paul and fails. SUNY Oswego for Ron Paul!!!

  • aprillh, from your language I can see why you don't like a great character. During Mike's 10.5 years as a governor, the longest of any candidate in executive position, re-elected 4 times, Arkansas taxes went up 47% while the average per stae during the same period ws 95%. MIke is the authentic conservative.

  • All the mudd fed here by 08truth is lies. It is half truths . Go to mikehuckabee(dot)com and view the truthsquad for the whole truth. Mike Huckabee is the authentic and honest candidate.

  • Anti-gay preachers running for president is ridiculous these days. People are smarter and wiser now. The religious folk supported slavery and kept womaen down too. Not to mention evil religious roots in the crusades, inquisitions and even the holocaust. The symbol of the cross, sadly has brought great suffering on the world. Civil rights are do everybody including gay people.

  • Yeah, what a great president the Huckster would make -- NOT! Tax hike Mike jacked up taxes 12x in 10-1/2 yrs, pardoned 1033 criminals, 12 of them MURDERERS and is PRO ILLEGAL EVERYTHING. He's a DEMOCRAT. I will switch to Independent if this clown is ever the GOP nominee, which won't happen. We don't need another hayseed in the WH.

  • to: 08truth: Thanks for posting this -- people need to know the truth about his TRUE record, not all the lies he's going around telling. I can't believe people are such suckers that they just believe what they're told without verifying info! Most of these candidates will say anything to get elected and Huckster's the worst.

  • MIKE HUCKABEE TRUSTWORTHY....

FACT: The ethics commission fined Huckabee $1,000 for failing to report that he paid himself $14,000 from his 1992 U.S. Senate campaign and $43,000 from his 1994 lieutenant governor's campaign.

FACT: Huckabee accepted more than 300 gifts worth at least $130,000, ranging from $3,700 cowboy boots to a $600 chainsaw.

  • Ron Paul advocates getting rid of the IRS. I'm with him there. BUT, he also advocates getting rid of the FBI, CIA, DOT, FAA, TSA and countless other govt and law enforcement agencies. Osama Bin Laden, Al Quaeda, Hamas, and other radical Islamic fundamentalists, Iran, North Korea, Venezuela would be salivating! Better start cleaning your guns and stocking up on ammo, cause it would be the wild west all over again.

  • You are only partially correct. Dr. Ron Paul is against certain departments in those federal Bureaucracies. For example, Ron Paul is for the intelligence gathering the CIA does but, he is against the CIA assassinating elected government officials of other countries. The CIA assassinated the elected leader of Iran in the fifties and replaced him with the Shah. The immediate result was the capture of U.S. hostages. In the long term, Iranians remember this and it causes U.S. hatred.

  • Ron Paul has said he will work with congress to abolish certain government bureaucracies that are Unconstitutional. He will replace them with the private sector.

Ron Paul's goal is to reduce the scope of government in our lives. He is the most conservative candidate in the bunch! He has never voted to raise taxes or congressional pay.

  • You are absolutely correct, my friend. You have every right to cast your vote for someone who the nation obviously does not support. And again you are correct that polls do contradict each other, however, when a candidate consistently ranks at the bottom of ALL polls, contradictory or not, a prudent person would question his choice of who to support.

  • RonPaul2008dotcom has links to over 50 straw polls that have ranked Dr. Paul in the top three. I guess you just haven't done any research. Ron Paul has raised ten times as much money as Huckabee. His record breaking fund raising is a good example of the overwhelming support Dr. Ron Paul has.

  • I guess we'll see on election day. If you base your argument on internet polls, you're in for a rude awakening.

  • If you think straw polls are the same thing as internet polls, you have much to learn. Here are a few examples of the straw polls Ron Paul has placed first in. There are over 50 just like it.

Wake County Young Republicans Straw Poll, San Diego County Republican Straw Poll(Raleigh, NC),Republican Party of Virginia Straw Poll, New York State Republican Straw Poll, New York City,Laramie County GOP Straw Poll, Cheyenne, WY NY(Arlington, VA),CWA New Jersey GOP Straw Poll

  • I live in North Carolina too. A couple of counties and a few obscure straw polls does not give an accurate indication of how the entire country will vote. Even Lyndon Larouche had a small following. I'll believe the experts. Even 'if' by some miracle he did win and go to the White House, do you really think congress and the senate will support him? He'll be up for impeachment before he can warm his seat in the oval office.

  • Probably because Ron Paul has only 5% of the nationwide poll? Just a guess.

"For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged". Matt 7:2

  • huckabee is a jerk. Vote Ron Paul

  • HUCKABEE IS THE MAN.... GO HUCK GO...

  • Huckabee sure is a good looking guy... I really liked him until I took a look at his record... As much as I wish I could vote for the guy who can connect with his audience like Mike Huckabee... we do not want a guy like that for President. Unfortunately, we wouldn't have to worry about that if he gets the nomination. They nation would not elect him...

  • Poor Paulbearer try not to be too cynical w/your candidate at about 5 percent of the popular vote.

  • the audacity of adding that Clapton tune to one of his campaign ads has cause me to vomit in my mouth a little. That the words "I will be the sunlight in your universe" should be connected to his candidacy in any way shape or from tell you where this guy is coming from. What is even more scary is does he really believe his own BS? I'll bet the Lincoln room winds up being the Janet room before to long. Since in Arkansas you can rename gov property after youself while still in office.

  • Yeah Tax Hike Mike!

    LIBERALS FOR MIKE HUCKABEE!!

If I wasn't a registered democrat I'd be voting for you!

Just imagine this, we come November we're going to have two democrats seeking the office! One will just have an "R" next to his name!

    Go Tax Hike Mike Huckabee!

  • Don't vote for a democrat just because he's a democrat. Vote for what you believe.

  • Someone marked that as spam. Spam is anything people don't like to hear, I guess.

  • He both raised and lowered individual taxes, as does everyone. But the net was an increase of $500 million. Wasn't the surplus really due to him overtaxing in the first place - or is he claiming he somehow cut taxes by $800 million to create it?

  • "[Huckabee] used public money for family restaurant meals, boat expenses, and other personal uses. He tried to claim as his own some $70,000 of furniture donated to the governor's mansion. He repeatedly, and obstinately, against the pleadings even from conservative columnists and editorials, refused to divulge the names of donors to a 'charitable' organization he set up while lieutenant governor--an outfit whose main charitable purpose seemed to be to pay Huckabee to make speeches.'"

  • Amazing. 3 negatives, yet not one comment disputing the charges. Is it maybe the facts themselves that you don't like?

  • Why comment on regurgitated biased blather? You don't use 'facts', you use partisan accusations that have no basis in reality. The accusations that you mention were found to be baseless and all came from political activists whose real grudge is that Huck is effective.

Falls in the same vein as the 'when did you stop beating your wife' tradition.

  • Ah, you have a specific refutation of these specific charges. Or at least you make it look like you do. May we see them? :)

  • How 'bout Huckabee's website, et al. See the Truth Squad section.

  • I checked that before, but don't see it.

You know I'd love take your word for it that I'm just regurgitating biased blather, but I'd love to see you back up your statements with truth.

BTW, I DID find on the campaign site 7 people *asking* that this be explained. I guess they're not having any luck yet either finding the explanation you know so well. D'ya think you might tell us exactly where this was explained there? ;-)

  • EastSkyMedia - while you're busy (I imagine it will take a very long time) finding that rebuttal you know so well exists on the Huckabee site, can you also please let us in on what you think of Pastor Chuck Baldwin's articles about Huckabee? I'm sure explaining them will be as easy as declaring there exists a campaign site. So Baldwin is also lying and has been debunked - right?

  • Huckabee is here don't miss it he is the best!!!
