Personally, I think one of the all time great songs by the hammer of the gods deserves a better video than you copying it from your TV from Song Remains the Same. Come on man, have a little respect.
@motormouth1000101 The difference is my oppinions come from reason. I have yet to see a moddern band come close to the talent of Led Zeppelin. But i understand where you are coming from, asuming you take as much drugs as tool.
Ok prolly gunna get made fun of for coming in here with my name and sayin this but...i think Tools version is better. Yes I know this was the great LZs own song and therefore it is better by default but i like tools version more.
A medieval night time infiltration of an enemy siege line, in a howling blizzard up a mountain pass. It is not going to be 6 months for a relief, but 2 years. It’s doable but only if the castle garrison, the town & villages beyond know to settle in for a long hold-out from the start.
The news must get through, and the enemy knows the stakes. A rare 0 visibility blizzard is the only real chance.
As long as their lungs hold breath, they still carry the message.
Thank you for posting it, Classicrockguy!! Great show. This isn't meant to sound critical, but there were a couple of typos--you misspelled Jimmy Page's name. Jimi Hendrix was a Jimi, but Jimmy Page is actually a Jimmy (then there's my dad, who's a Jimmie, lol) John Bonaum's is spelled "Bonham". (Oh, and, less importantly, JPJ plays the bass, not the base). Other than that, great. Love that concert, thank you for sharing. :)
Classic Rock Guy is a little misinformed. No one ever said this was their best concert. In fact, the band was embarassed that this footage was going to be made into a movie. I personally thought it was decent however.
I think it was" I only wish I was really there" or it may have been" If I were old enough to remember". I was there but I was feelin up some drunk chick durring that set.I thought it was a chick anyway.Where have the good times gone?
The term no quarter, was given by a victorious army leader. It meant that they would not quarter(house) prisoners of the losing army, they were to kill them.
OK... I was hoping to see a cut from their dvd, not a raw shoot from a movie theatre. Regardless, very knoble of you to post Led Zeppelin. Accolades to you, Classicrockguy110. Long Live Led Zeppelin ! Still the greatest rock band of out time.
yeah . . it comes from the usage of quarter as a dwelling. . . giving a man no quarters is a nice way of saying he won't need any 'cuz you're gonna kill 'em. . the song tells a true historical fact; there were indeed those who traveled about and knew they would be killed if seen.
