Missed them at the Narrowboat in Nottingham in mid 90's and gutted as never got to see them live before they split. Saw Jets to Brazil a couple of times more recently who come a close second. Great songs and lyrics and this is one of my faves, which I still dig out when the wife and kids are out!!!
saw them a few times, even felt they were too big in 95' show doing boxcar with 400 kids chorusing - that song blew. later caught jets to brazil in amsterdam sk8 shop 20 person basement gig. drank with blake and crew.
One of the best if not the best Jawbreaker song ever. I have been listening to this song since about 97, and it is still a great song. Wish I could have seen them...
3/94, I was supposed to graduate high school in 2 months, but my english teacher held me back and made me go to summer school, too much time listening to bands like this, and not getting good grades...ungh. probably why I write so much now, you can't stop me!

This is really cool to see. I was there. The band I was in, Boy Wonder, opened for Jawbreaker.

With all due respect to the original, I think Lucero's live version of this song is much better.

It always makes me crease how a song about pissed up tramps can be a thing of such such beauty. I always sing my heart out to my bag lady soul-mate!

It was released on the Mission District 7" box set, the Music For The Proletariat CD, and then on their ETC album.
