  • you missed the part about orik becoming king of the dwarves

  • i thought it was amazing how they went back and forth between eragon and roran...oh wait wasnt that the second one?

  • i am his causin nick ;)

    and he lives in canada

  • Good & funny review!

btw, chris' last name is prounounced "POW-LEE-NEE"

  • It should have been called "Empire" so the Fourth Book could be called "Erador", "Ending," "Escape, "or "Exodus".

  • I didn't plot wise like the book as much as the other two, but it was great character improvement. And it was just easier to read. He's definately improved his writing style, if not his plot lines.

And I LOVED the Saphira chapters. Unesscary-yes, for sure, but awesome because they're from a dragons POV-HELL YEAH.

And Roran irritates the heck outta me. He's like a superhuman human with big muscles who arses around doing useless stuff for two books then gets all pally with Eragon.

  • i liked brisingr and it would be just boring if the story was only about eragon and saphira. True that ther was soooo much i need a sword and so much chapters about the freakin brisingr sword... very very very very very very descriptive

  • You freakin noob this book was good

  • Well, I like your review cuz it has many funny pictures and comments(lol) but I like all 3 and I don't know why, haha! And yeah, I absolutely agree with you that this book has loads of storyline and it pissed me off alot. So I usually skip the Roran,Nasuada parts cuz it's fucking boring and nonesense! Still, good work! And by the way, I'm looking forward to your review on book 4!

  • I WANT THAT FINAL COUNT DOWN SONG o.o

  • Hmm, you are much kinder about this book than I am :D I hate all three of them. Great review, though!

  • Aye but murtagh is not Eragons brother.

  • i agree with your vid to some degree. in a way book 3 was used more for paolini to just dump background info and set all the future events in place for book four. i did find the book entertaining like 1 and 2.

  • i luv the part when you say the bond and daniel craig pops up haha

  • Dude this had 666 views so I just saved your life by viewing it and bringing it up to 667

  • I respect your opinion, but i found the book to be really good. And wouldnt the climax be more towards the end, in the general area of oromis' death?

  • that's where it was SUPPOSED to be, but Paloni really didnt plan the story arc out well in this one. personally i found that to be the point were the book definitavly ended, or at least, was supposed to. the non-battle at the end and all else was just thrown on as extra. i would have thought his death the climax IF WE ACTUALLY SAW IT, but for some odd reason Paloni thought it was a good idea to have a climatic moment with the main charector on the other end of the freaking map. it made no sence

  • Yeah that is pretty true....but its kind of like The Lord of the Rings, I think that Brisingr, like The Two Towers, kind of sets the stage for the last book, don't get me wrong, the story could have been better, but it was written well, as far as details and imagery. Know what I mean?

  • You also have to realize it was supposed to be part of the final book but it had to be split so it didnt have a perfect climax. I enjoyed it but then again i dont like to nit picket and i can read fast so length doesnt bother me to much. The dwarf scene was boring.

  • BTW, Book 4 is going to be called "INHERITANCE" - not "Empire"

  • @Eye2EyeIIIV this was made years ago when the official name wasn't released yet

  • No. there can be more than one climax, and yes i agree with what you're saying ast onok. i hated book 3.

  • I'm not a fan of Eragon. =P

But interesting review none the less.

  • oh well, it is true that this 3rd book wasn't as good as the other two but come on, 5 out of 10?. Also we all wanted Eragon to have a brand new sword...right? (yes, maybe I'm not being neutral)

  • yeah i stand by my rating. this book did not need to be as long as it did and was only saeparated for money. i hate it when authors will do crap like this.

  • i got 10 chapters in before i got bored.

  • how dare you kick me out of your live show!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i warned you

  • only link & jadow an pull off the pointy ear look!

  • and Inuyasha

  • not inuyasha! he looks like a feline transvestite! & his anime/manga is boring!

  • INUYASHA IS A DOG

  • sorry, im usually asleep after the 1st five seconds.

  • Hmm, where do you get your music? Limewire? The song is Final Countdown - Norther, from their first album, Dreams of Endless War. They're from the general vicinity of Bodom, so they did sound a little similar to begin with. These days they've got their own sound, and it is excellent melodic death metal.

That said, go hide in a corner and read, you retard. Way to make shirts for your youtube account.

  • limewire is so for the win

yup actually im working on 1984 again LOVE IT

yeah if your gunna do a project why not advertise

  • yea sam that book is gay

  • hahahahahaha ME TO !!!!! i prefer to see the movie tha to read tha shit the 3rd book suck i really don't get it is stupid

  • lol

  • Synthesizing a sword was not the climax of Brisingr...silly nublet

  • it really was. all of the action slowed down after that point, and it seems to be what the whole book is leading up to. the final battle (or lack there of) is part of the fallign action.

  • waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay out of order dumb ass

  • um... what?

  • Here is my opinion:

-Saphira's chaps were useless, but the most annoting ones were the time thate ragon spent with the firggin dwarves!!!!Dammit, it was obvious that orik would become the king.

-Lol at the emo part of Nasuada XD! good work

-Um...the climax could be the city war but you are right when you say that it wasn't as good as the other books battles.

-The shade part freaked me out-not AGAIN!

Anyway, I disagree with some parts but you made an AWESOME review. 5*

  • lol annoting...I meant annoying

  • i just started the book. im like 60 pages through. i dont like your opinion, but still a great review.

  • Also I am not trying to contradict myself, just trying to comment on both sides. 7/10 for your review.

  • lol thanks... i lvoe how alot of people are reviewing my reviews

  • I also think all of you will be so happy you learned what you did in this book when Empire comes out... Now don't get me wrong, those Saphira chapters were ridiculous... and if you're going to do Arcs they should be developed wisely and should have meaning. And the battle at the end... it's only merit was Glaedr and Oromis' demise and the small action that Arya gave Eragon. That little shade bit was just embarrasing... but I believe it had importance due to Eragon's interest in spirits.

  • You had very valid points. I still think you failed to grasp the point of the third book. The ending of this series will be more epic than the first two books combined and because of that, I can completely tolerate (while I agree, a little unnecesary) the build up he is attempting for Empire. I don't think Paolini was just trying to lengthen his book by adding the different arcs, I think he genuinely cares for and is interested in developing certain characters.

  • I also annoyed how all the sudden Eragon was like oh no I killed people.

  • Yes the end thign sucked, but I liked the actual book. I didn't like 2, cause it seemd cleshay in the ending.

  • I though the book was ok but i was totally looking for an ending and it doesnt give that and ur right about the title its a million miles long and it was supposed to be a trillogy not an iono quadrillogy iono if thats a word but it is now

  • lol yup it has been since Alien resurection

  • children of bodom + europe = AWWZUM!

  • Sweet review.

  • maybe if u guys actualy were interested in the book and didnt care about eragon and saphira hacking through the enemy and (the list goes on) understood the complexity and enthusiasm of christopher paulinis writing than you would of enjoyed the book like i know a lot of people have

  • i was truel;y interested in the book. as i said in the beginning, i read the first two untuill they fell apeart. i was totally pumped for this book.

also i know that paloni writes very well. i said that as well, did you even watch my review before you started critisising me?

i scored it low because the was nothing tht happened of importance. it just felt unnessessary and i figured it'd be as good, if not better than the last two.

you cant honestly tell me that Brisingr is better than Eragon

  • You mispronounced "Brisingr" and "Nasuada" and "Arya"

  • congradulations. your officially more nerdy than i am

  • funny review! I agree with you on how it should only have been about 300 pages. I have a review of Brisingr as well and was wondering if you could check it out. I subscribed

  • anything for an new subscriber man!

  • I agree totally with you when you say I don't care about nasuada and Roran. I only care about eragon and saphira. Even her chapters were a waste of time.

  • very well said, but i say 4.5 out of ten cuz some of it just made no sense and was boring!!

  • i would have enjoyed the book if I didn't d*** read the whole story summary on the d*** internet!

  • ROFL LMAO

  • theres was something that happened the raazac died and so did ormis but thats about it.

wtf was with the cutting thing with nasuda though that was a litte bit stupid.

  • i dont know it was another useless thing.

i mentioned the razac dying, and as for oromis yeah but that was after the climax of the book

  • lol yea I wish something more interested happend though in brisingr.

  • i wish anything happened in brisingr

  • Lol, at first I thought this would be a giant rant but it's actually a very good review. You're right, dragon movie did suck, I mean, they CHANGED the actual storyline!

I'm about halfway through the book and it's kind of interesting but nothing that makes me want to read more. I must ask, does the old hermit ever serve a purpose? Because now it seems like just some random scene made to take up space. Kind of like The Oddyssey, except worse.

  • i totally forgot about him lol

no i dont think he actually does anything.

this was the biggest rant ive ever gone on in a review

  • MOVIE WAS GAY AS FUCK, althought I still liked brisingr because its leading up to the end. I just finished it.

  • yeah it was leading up to the end, in a first-five-chapters-extented-into-750-freaking-pages way

  • Another great review. I have read eragon and eldest but not brisingr i dont think i'll bother now. I cant believe that the climax of the book is eragon making a sword, that is retarded. Anyway im going to do my own review show soon that is inspired by yours, so thanks. My first review wil be of the game little big planet which I plan to buy.
