@ztwentyateu I'll give you that but, Nitrous is the cheap way out as it gives a temporary boost to your car, as a car with out nitrous running 8's is a smarter route in the end. Nitrous is useless you can't use in a legal race. Like I said anyone can run with nitrous, Not everyone can run with out.

You're confusing the 80's Camaros with another year. 82-92 Camaros were the second lightest generation ever made.

67-69's were hardly over 3,000 pounds.

70-81's were the heaviest ever, until the 4th Gen.

82-92's were 3,000 - 3,300 pounds.

93-2002's were in the neighborhood of 3,300 to 3,600.

The new 5th gens are the heaviest ever, at nearly 4,000 pounds.

My 1986 IROC is stripped down to barely anything, and weighs about 3,200 with me & gas in it.
