@fuducker81 no i have a t40 and ive taken it apart, the keyboard ribbon is placed higher up on the chassis that this. like the title says, this is an R series laptop.

Hey I have the same laptop and the right corner seems to be loose (when i press it normally, it depresses and bangs against the body of the laptop when I lift my finger off). Do you think if i removed and reinstalled it, it would go away? what do you think the problem is? I am afraid to do this to my laptop.
