  • Is he doing this in his kitchen..

  • we love u superman but do not tell batman ok

  • thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaank you so much

  • Awesome

  • I'm planning on doing this to my XJ also.. Using stratus injector 2.4L

Are you Getting way better MPGs??

  • is this method only for top feed injectors?

Would they work on my sti side feed injectors?

how would this work on my sti side feed injectors?

  • butter fingers

  • This is not injector cleaning. This is waste of time. This is only presentatnion how injector works. Cleaning pressure must be much higher than 0,2MPa in spray-can.

  • Very helpful indeed. Thank you.

  • 4:56 made me jump lol

  • DAMN IT lol great vid man very helpful

  • great job, that was very informative. Thanks

  • 1 CC = cubic centimeter = 1 milliliter (volume/displacement measure)

  • What is the operating voltage for this fuel injector. Mine are operated by about 5 volts. I want to use this method but am concerned about the 12 volt battery and whether any damage will ocurr to the fuel injector coil.

  • Ok i hear my fuel injectors clicking but nothings spraying. what am i doing wrong?

  • do i need a syringe or can i use a piece of hose

  • @Carfixing101 yes but his way is cleaner as most hose is crap but new efi hose an old fuel pump +cleaner +copper hose for a permanent rig

  • Hey great video. just wondering where could i find the alligator cables you used. i live in toronto canada

  • @Carfixing101 yes but his way is cleaner as most hose is crap but new efi hose an old fuel pump +cleaner +copper hose for a permanent rig

ebay raidio shack round wire terminal end local mom and pop hardware store

  • @sansui1968 Ok thanks. I hear the fuel injector clicking but nothing sprays it just drips. What am i doing wrong

  • everything is falling ..LOL, but SUPER helpful video Ill give you thumbs UP..

  • very clever congrats,,everything is easy ,just the part with the connector but a couple of aligator directly to the pins be no problem.cheers

  • DAMN IT!!!!!!!

  • this is a great vid, i have never thought of cleaning a fuel injector that way!!! looks like it works very well, :-)

  • ok when you conect your conector to the battery how do u know which side of the injector conector is the positive and which one is the negative or it doesnt really matter?

  • @aman450r Polarity does not matter on an injector, it is just a coil.

  • 6ml=6ccm

  • or you spend 30$ on ultrasonic cleaning

  • Very nice info... Gonna give it a try after Xmas : ). Where can I get a fuel injector connector?

  • very helpful,cheers

  • Nice hairy arms

  • @exhifreq Those are P90X arms.........watchout ;)

  • @robguitargod1 LOLLLLLL I got a buddy that has been on that for a while.. we are always making PX jokes :) And thanks for the post, you have the same injectors as my Neon engines use : )

  • thats one smart idea!!

  • genius!

  • I was going to mail mine out but after seeing this Ill do it my self. Could you use sea foam to do it?

  • That was a great job you must have put quite a bit of time in on perfecting this. Thanks.

  • It's video's like this that make me proud to be a man.

  • that's freaking awesome.

  • Cool. But like the "dammit" falling stuff. Funny and helpful

  • Thanks for your video mate!

  • I like your attitude, dammit. Thanks for the tutorial on your injector cleaning. I bought a pack of three 6cc syringes from farm and fleet for $1.50. And I have a 93 toyota camry v6. I think I'm going to lessen the volts to about 4v or 5v from what I have read about what the pcu/ecm actually supplies to the injector. Cool video.

  • You may also be able to buy the injector electrical connector like I did for my '89 f150. Took a lot of talking on the phone but I finally found it at Auto Zone for about $6. Beats driving 45 minutes to the closest self-service junkyard, and paying a $2 entry fee just to find out they may not have the part you are looking for.

  • I like the video

  • very good

  • Probably the only thing I'd add is if you're going to reuse the oring don't use motoroil on it. And you want to make sure no sparks are anywhere near what you're doing. So keep that switch away :)

  • i did this like you said here on nissan RB20det turbo injectors .... 6 mL seringe plus the stock rubber grommet that was on the injector worked perfect !!!!!!! ( and only had 1 pop off due to cracked rubber lol ) Very Awsome post this is ... and extremely helpfull and saved me over $500 aud !!! MASSIVE THANX!!!!!!!!!!! :)

  • will this free the gunk on a semi-stuck injector?

  • does this really clean your fuel injectors?? or should i use some fuel injector cleaner in the fuel tank after the swap.... does the swap really improve the XJ performance/ throttle response and fuel mileage?... i have a 92 XJ

  • here it is, bosch injector cleaning machine for couple of thousents of dollars...

  • easy , nice video !

  • DAMN IT!!! loooooooool

  • dam RGG your a clutz stimpy...

  • "..cause if it blows off it'll scare ya, cause... I might've already done that.." lol

    Thanks for making the demo!

  • one question? does a dirty fuel injector has to do with guzzling gas?

  • Im curious, is there any different in battery connection between clean & reverse clean? or you just supply the liquid in 1 of those fuel injector's ends ?

  • looks like your building a bomb rather then cleaning an injector!

  • i've got a scooter with fuel injection and there seem to be many problems due to dirty fuel. how do you protect it from bad fuel? can you filter the fuel in some way?

  • Hi..Good vid instructable, very helpful for my first injection engine service :D Thank you for this share...

  • Nice job. Very good camera work and presentation!

  • where did you get the alligator leads and the switch at?

  • Thanks, will help me a lot.

  • Does the switch have to have a special amperage? And I take it that's a 12V battery? And if I can't get my connectors off can I just use alligator clips for the fuel injectors instead?

  • @parvizsoccer No special current rating on the switch, and you can use whatever you want as long as you make contact with the injector. Yes, 12VDC battery.

  • "cause i might have already done that". I think you should do a video that shows the syringe blowing off. ...the video would have some more drama... and maybe a few more "dammits"

  • "cause i might have already done that"

  • Dammit!!! LOL Awesome vid, thanks.

  • ml= cubic centimeter= cc

1000ml is a liter. Now, tell me about imperial units of volume. Haha :)

  • Nicely done easy to understand

  • I got the syringe from Petsmart I believe. I had to go to a few places to find one.

Yes carb cleaner is ok to use. It's a cleaner and is just to clean out any deposits in the injector. I've done this mod/cleaning on my '98 XJ Cherokee, and it runs great.

  • @robguitargod1 really good video man thanks alot, I just have one question. Is their no problem with the voltage? I mean connecting one injector to any battery is fine?

  • great video! i think im going to do this once it gets warmer outside, is it safe to use carb cleaner on the fuel injectors???

  • so were gonna connect it to the end of the can........ dammit!

    priceless funny

  • where did you get the syringe
