If you saw the movie you can see chris bell training every day taking supplements and doing all this things to keep the dream alive and it schocks me that he is chubby i mean maybe he's not eating right or maybe he's not that young but shouldn't he look better? im a fan of chris and the movie don't get me wrong
hello im anthony im 12 yrs old and i have nothing to fucking do but to troll people on youtube, i stay home on weekends and i'll never ever get laid. And im going to troll somee more after trolling this
I realy like the film, but he underminds his own point by making fun of the guy doing the interview for not being bulk, and thereby not living up to the body ideals of America, which is one of the basic points in the movie,
I have seen the movie and its not bias at all. it give you the facts from both sides and lets you make your own mind up. and curtmastor there as as many great men in the modern day that are not big and muscly, you make it seem like in this day and age you have to be a strong person who can lift lost of weight to be considered "great", which i think couldn't be more wrong. And people have, and will all ways care about what they look like, it's human nature.
I remember always being physical...but I remember watching Dragonball Z and I saw my heroes fighting evil...I had evils in my life...so, I loved the idea of being able to beat my fears into a pulp with my bare hands...but I never loved hurting people...so, in the gym, lifting weights, that was me making myself stronger..literally. Naturally, I was built. After heavy training, I was jacked.
Ephedra is used to make methamphetamine, powering a multi billion dollar underground drug economy, that's why it was banned. Don't buy the "health reasons" crap.
I'm looking forward to seeing the film. The steroids issue brings up a lot of questions about life, free choice, where do draw the line, image vs perception, etc...
One question I hope they pose in this documentary is, "When the day comes where a drug comes along giving super human strength with no side effects, should it still be illegal?"
its not one sided its just the truth thats why it seems so one sided. everything that we hear is steroids are bad when there not at all. you guys that think steroids will kill you they couse cancer etc are stupid and need to no the facts before they start shooting there mouth off. and just because someone might take steroids doesnt mean he is on a short cut to success you still have to be strict with your diet and traing.
i havent seen the film, but from what understand its that it is more so pro-steroid. i dont see a prblem with this one sided arguement, after all, watch the news..CNN..ect.. and all you get is a one sided story on how steroids will kill you and all these side effects, that simply are not true. this movie sounds like it provides some truth into a world that many people will never know or explore into any depth. steroids are fine if youve extensively researched and know what the fuck your doing
I wouldnt say it was "pro steroid". Clearly at the end te director shows whats wrong with our culture now. in the interview with th harvard psychologist he explained how 2 or even 1 generaton ago men didnt care about how they looked or what they lifted. character was put on a much higher premium than peformance. Look at some of the greatest "men" we had 2 or 3 generations ago. Lincoln, Roosevelt, Eisenhower, FDR, Frankling, Jefferson. None were extroardinary physcially.
Havent seen the movie yett, but do not like seing this fat bastard giving people with a well earned phycike a bad rap just because sum peaple are lazy juising upp.
yeah, in favor of steriods...did you even watch the first 1:30 of the video clip? He specifically states the side effects of steriods has been exaggerated...
just SAW this film and nycthugg, you're right, 80% of this film is so BIASED in FAVOR of steroids. the film was not objective, it favored steroids by far, even though in the beginning the director tried to act as if he is against them. one interesting part of the film was how so many of us in America are so hooked on other prescription drugs.
This country is filled with misconceptions about steroids. Hopefully this will clear things up. I just don't like how he goes into the subject of Synthol...because its not a fcukkin steroid...Its a muscle inflammatory. Its not derived from testosterone.
Many doctors advise that the use of SEOs is extremely dangerous, if not potentially fatal, as injection into a major blood vessel can cause embolism, leading to heart strokes, respiratory crisis and/or permanent brain damage if SEO traces find their way into cerebral vessels.
I think that mentioning it is not a bad thing... The drug is dangerous...
I agree with the effects, but people who are uneducated will assume that it is a steroid. I have'nt seen the documentory...but hopefully Bell goes and explains the differences between SEOs and Juice.
valentino is regarded a joke in bodbuilding circles, in every sport there are idiots, that movie however tells the truth about the hysterie on steroids
Kids and steroids do not go well AT ALL! Steroids are powerful and should not be used by certain people. Running these hormones through a child is going to effect him for the worse! The guy in the middle needs to actually workout and get his diet in check before even THINKING about steroids.
And steroids don't break homes, that's bullshit.
Steroids don't cause ghettos, etc. REAL schedule 3 drugs cause ghettos.
Greg is a tool with extremely bad judgment. And yes, he injected synthol.
I do wish he would have examined the "incorrect" Lifetime exposé of the disturbing video of Gregg Valentino, "the man with the biggest arms in the world" who cried steroid abuse but in truth he actually abused a synthetic substance called SYNTHAL.
That whole documentary on Gregg Valentino was a farce, just another one of the uniformed unsubstantiated expose's that condemns without any solid evidence.
its not just america haha. Are you kidding?
