In Child's Play 2, what happened was his body became too human for him to transfer out of it.
But in Child's Play 3, what happened was Chucky got a new body that wasn't too human yet and so he got a fresh start to try to transfer his soul out of it. That's my take on it.
Chucky is only trapped in his body because he stays until it's too late. If he stays in his doll body for too long, he stays human.
Just like in Child's Play 2. Chucky actually completed the chant, but was too human. The third one he did have a new body, but he had the same stuff used to make said body. His soul was trapped in what was left of his body.
So then his girlfriend finds him and does the chant. Since Chucky was gone for so long, it took a while.
So Chucky is treated horribly because by Tiffany. She is still pissed, so she locked him up. He breaks out to kill Tiffany's human body and quickly transfers her soul into the other female doll. Luckily he did it so quick, but it was prolonged because of how long she was out.
So then Chucky and Tiffany have sex, which is bad because that requires him to have human parts. It's too late to change into the two humans now. And at the end, out pops a baby boy due to voodoo magic.
Then an amazing thing happens! Chucky and Tiffany are made into animatronic dolls! They get to be in those bodies and live in them longer, and it delays them becoming human.
They need to transfer their souls into two people, and get Jennifer pregnant to make sure their son, has a body. They get two people and twins! But Chucky wants to stay a doll...he likes the body, he can live forever in it. Tiffany doesn't want this, so they divorce and she becomes Jennifer Tilly. The end!
Not to forget that Chucky died at his son's hand. But somehow Chucky got his hand to attack his son, so clearly there was still power inside of him. Watch out, daddy's back!
1st, Oliver, your reviews kick major ass! I didn't know there were people that big on Chucky like I am. Chucky was the one, besides Freddy Krueger, that still as a 27 year old gives me goosebumps by just thinking about him. He may have not been a big huge monster like Freddy or Jason, but that little fucker packed power. He was a psychological killer like Freddy to me. He played mind games with you, said smart, witty things that made you think, "Is he real?" Child's Play 1 was the best of all.

If it wasnt for Brad Dourifs voice and comments, those movies could end up as boring cult horror crap. But the guy's amazing. I don't know if the stuff he's saying are written or improvised but combined with his voice tone and screamings/cursing boost up the whole thing in a sick + satyric way...

Once I was scare of Chucky now that i see that he donse't keep the high voice for the whole movie. He's kind of funny. He only becomes funny after you know he's there.
Since there is going to be a remake of the first Child's Play, I would also like to mention that on February 13th, 2009 a remake of Friday the 13th will be released to theatres.
I think that for a Chucky movie, I am interested in seeing a possible backstory on Chucky when he was Charles Lee Ray and known as the Lakeshore Strangler. Something like Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning, Hannibal Rising, or any other backstory on any horror icons.
You missed the fact that in the begining of the third movie chucky's blood was still dripping after years! i mean the factory's got spider webs for crying out loud, yet chucky's blood is still fresh and dripping :)
You should have also that though it was stupid, Child's Play 2 had the best ending, when they killed him in the factory; That's how they should have ended the series, in the factory
@GetSomeMissy It's actually symbolic. At the end of child's play 2, a piece of his head falls into the plastic vat, creating a new doll. The scene only appears in the televised version , so the blood scene was written in.

So Chucky is treated horribly because by Tiffany. She is still pissed, so she locked him up. He breaks out to kill Tiffany's human body and quickly transfers her soul into the other female doll. Luckily he did it so quick, but it was prolonged because of how long she was out.
So then Chucky and Tiffany have sex, which is bad because that requires him to have human parts. It's too late to change into the two humans now. And at the end, out pops a baby boy due to voodoo magic.

Then an amazing thing happens! Chucky and Tiffany are made into animatronic dolls! They get to be in those bodies and live in them longer, and it delays them becoming human.
They need to transfer their souls into two people, and get Jennifer pregnant to make sure their son, has a body. They get two people and twins! But Chucky wants to stay a doll...he likes the body, he can live forever in it. Tiffany doesn't want this, so they divorce and she becomes Jennifer Tilly. The end!

1st, Oliver, your reviews kick major ass! I didn't know there were people that big on Chucky like I am. Chucky was the one, besides Freddy Krueger, that still as a 27 year old gives me goosebumps by just thinking about him. He may have not been a big huge monster like Freddy or Jason, but that little fucker packed power. He was a psychological killer like Freddy to me. He played mind games with you, said smart, witty things that made you think, "Is he real?" Child's Play 1 was the best of all.

chucky has a new body in child's play 3 and when he talks to the little black boy he says out loud that he has a new body , and then later when chucky meets andy he says that he don't need him anymore, in this movie chucky isnt trying to put his soul into andy body

If it wasnt for Brad Dourifs voice and comments, those movies could end up as boring cult horror crap. But the guy's amazing. I don't know if the stuff he's saying are written or improvised but combined with his voice tone and screamings/cursing boost up the whole thing in a sick + satyric way...

Once I was scare of Chucky now that i see that he donse't keep the high voice for the whole movie. He's kind of funny. He only becomes funny after you know he's there.

Since there is going to be a remake of the first Child's Play, I would also like to mention that on February 13th, 2009 a remake of Friday the 13th will be released to theatres.
I think that for a Chucky movie, I am interested in seeing a possible backstory on Chucky when he was Charles Lee Ray and known as the Lakeshore Strangler. Something like Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning, Hannibal Rising, or any other backstory on any horror icons.

You missed the fact that in the begining of the third movie chucky's blood was still dripping after years! i mean the factory's got spider webs for crying out loud, yet chucky's blood is still fresh and dripping :)

@GetSomeMissy It's actually symbolic. At the end of child's play 2, a piece of his head falls into the plastic vat, creating a new doll. The scene only appears in the televised version , so the blood scene was written in.
