and by the way, i know what drop tuning is. any idiot who can drop a guitar into D knows what drop tuning is so. and for my trained ear that didnt sound like any drop tuning i was used to so the fact that its a seven string guitar with all seven strings dropped down to an out of the norm tuning could be conceivably mistaken for a baritone. listen to some SOAD and maybe you'll understand.

Btw, what also helps for the tone are very thick strings. Gauges 8, 13, 16, 26, 36, 46, and 56. I also think its a very normal question :D

thanks. i wish i could use thick gauge but they tear my fingertips to peaces. although i have found (strangely enough) that i can get pretty decent tone using custom extra lights with the tone on my doubleneck. Ive got a Ktone double with a master tone pot over all 4 pickups but something about the pickups on this thing, it has the best tone of any guitar ive ever played. sounds better to me than the the Gibson EDS - 1275
