yes its now a very complicated algorithm. i do a LOT of tests to understand it and now im working a program so ppl can use that will get them the thumnail they want more than 50% of the time. =)

the thing is, i put ,y picture at the exact middle of the video. my video was 4:20, so I put it at 2:10, but it still wasn't it. what did i do wrong?

is it still setting from middle? because i tried it i set EXACT the middle a picture for 2 seconds! 50% is before the middle and 50% after and it didnt work. wat am i doin wrong?

you are not doing anything wrong youtube have recently changed this i always used to put my pic in the middle and got the perfect thumbnail now this last week or so they have changed it i think its because of the rick rolling videos :(

Thanks Its good to know about the Thumbnails. It helps your Videos be seen with a nice Thumbnail, instead of just any pic or even a pic in transition is bad.
