the roush f150 with a stage 3 supercharger puts out around 500 hp and about 550 lb ft of tq. only thing holding it back is the stupid 4 speed ford put in them, that being said with a shift kit the roush f150 will probably hang with this trd charged tundra.

Nissan, the SC F150 can't even get to 60 MPH in 6 seconds. As a matter of fact, a stock 5.7 Double Cab is faster to 60 MPH than the 500 HP F150's.

There is a video by Inside Line on you tube testing a 500 HP F150... you should watch it. There is a LOT more to speed in a truck than what the manufacturer says the truck makes in HP.

I have an 07 mustang gt, you can check out my videos. I run high 12s with drag radials, which is pretty solid for the amount of horsepower i have. But a stock rcsb would probably run mid 14s, MAYBE low 14s, so there's no way a "few bolt ons" would drop over a second and half off that time. The only way a new tundra, in any cab form, is going to run 12s is with a supercharger.

you have no idea the power i got from fan swap, pulley kit, perf plugs, headers, dual single chamber flowmaster, throttle body, volant cai, unichip tuner with laptop/palm hookups, i now have from 381 rwhp-463rwhp not quite 100 with the new tuner that they came out with they have never seen power gains as high as 35-50hp in a gas vehicle they got that from the tundra! i also am gonna get gears 488 front and back gears are like throwing a sc on its a huge ass difference & takes at least a sec off!

And yeah gears really wake cars up, when i went from my 3.55s to 4.10s it was night and day difference. But don't expect a full second, it's not going to be rediculously faster at the strip, it will just feel a lot faster, but you'll probably get 3 or 4 tenths of a second quicker, which is still solid.
