51 percent enslaving 49 percent is not what the fore fathers envision for the country they said it was the worst possible thing ever ,you have rights you were born with ,no one should ever be able to take them away ,,politician don,t give a fuck about you they don,t care about you ,its a big club and were not in it ,you and me are not in the big club, its the same club they beat you with every day telling you what to read what to watch ,,they control media ,,,how come
OK - So, what would every vote be?? Obama wasn't on the ballot in Michigan. He didn't campaign if Florida - but Clinton did ( she sent Bill down to do it). So, what votes does he want to count?? How will he figure out who everyone would have voted for, if they voted?? Mind read, mind meld, neutral poll (ha ha), wigee board??? It's pointless to try to guess now. One thing for sure - Hilary is bad news, click on my name for more.
How about this: instead of voting for a party, vote for the person that best represents your views. There, now you don't have to vote against a democrat purely out of spiteful nonsense.
true! count every vote, i agree. but, if the process is flawed, how can every voter be fairly represented? how can you undo spilled milk? if this is really such an issue, where the fuck were you and hillary back in january? the voters in the 2 states were accepting the fact their state legislators broke party rules and that their votes will not be counted. most of all, hillary, along with the other canidates all agreed to go by party rules! change the rules in mid-game? sorry, fuck you!
whatever. well, if they didn't accept their votes not being counted, they were sure pretty quiet about it back when hillary was all to happy and agreed to go with party rules and their decision of penalizing the voters for their state legislators breaking party rules back in january. when you're running as a democrat, you have play by the demcratic party rules, no? those are the guidelines. don't like it? run as an independent then. simple!
Anybody who doesn't understand that what the Democratic Party did yesterday was wrong, wrong, wrong,--you are an idiot. I am sick of Obama's campaign saying this is about race. This is about what is right. Count all the votes or you look like Republicans. Just think what would have happened in history if Rosa Parks had said, oh well, those are the rules, I'll just sit in the back of the bus. Doing the right thing, trumps rules!!!!! You Idiots!!!!
"Because I love you, I can say this: no rich young white guy has ever gotten anywhere with me comparing himself to Rosa Parks." -- Isaac Jaffe, "Sports Night"
Same goes for you.
Doing the right thing trumps rules if and only if those who defend the rules agree with you with respect to what the right thing is. If you believe otherwise, I won't stoop to your level by calling you an idiot -- but I will say that your understanding of democracy is flawed.
The DNC lost the election yesterday when it stole delegates from Clinton and gave them to Obama along with delgates he did not earn. It's over Dems, McCain will be the next president. All you nasty Obamabots can keep squealing like the pigs you are. You have lost!
What will you do when hillaryis44 is finally shut down? Will you drink too much again - like you used too? Will you snap at your cats and "forget" to change their litter more often? Will you search "hillary" on this site and they finger your dry, cracked old slit while watching her speak?
I really am interested in you and your site and I'm very much looking forward to observing it as it burns itself to ash in the very, very near future.
It's great to see middle school kids posting on the internet. The toughguy act is pretty funny but at least you can type! Maybe you can get a job in retail with skills like that kid!
Oh, come now. Faggots they clearly are, and I think we can all agree as progressives that we hate teh fags, but I refuse to believe that they suck scum.
I was there. The voices you heard screaming included mine. Ickes said it like it is and Donna yawned. This is neither our party nor Hillary's party anymore. We can take it to Denver but I tell you now that if Obama is the candidate in November, I will not vote Democrat. I will not take a seat at the back of the bus. I will not take what they dish out because I have no other choice, don't threaten me re: roe v wade or Supremes I will not back down. No not I! It's Hillary or Mc Cain NOBAMA NOBAMA
I am so ashamed of the DNC. I think it is un-American to steal delagates from a candidate that did nothing wrong and the voters did nothing wrong. Disgraceful!!!!!!
Out of curiosity: where was all this moral outrage when Clinton agreed to the DNC's rules prior to the vote?
Turnout in Michigan was one-third of what it should have been. This was a reflection of the fact that the contest was illegitimate, and most MI voters recognized this. Clinton supporters stayed home; Obama supporters stayed home more.
The rules were the rules, until Clinton decided that they weren't. The committee today did the best that it could do.
Hillary accepted & signed the DNC rules barring MI & FL ! The other candidates didnt campaign there for that reason. They all signed the same rules, you cant just change the rules whenever it suits you.
It's a lovely sentiment, very democratic and all, but it entirely fails to capture the complexity of the situation.
Just one example to consider: had Obama's name been on the ballot in MI, he quite possibly would have won that state -- see the impartial and exhaustive analysis at fivethirtyeight, for instance -- and earned more delegates than Clinton. He almost certainly would have won more than under this compromise.
Clinton, of course, has no interest in compromise. She can't afford it.
Clinton agreed to the rules before MI and FL voted, and the party organizations in those states knew what they were getting into. Now that she badly needs every last delegate, Clinton wants to change those rules -- though even her husband has admitted that the half-delegate seating is the most practical solution. Nobody is happy that it has come to this, but the compromise is a fair one, and this protestor's oversimplifications are unfortunate and counterproductive.

DIDN'T SEE THESE PEOPLE COMIN OUT WHEN THIS WAS 1ST DECIDED
the only reason they're against it is b/c it hurts hillary
and be quiet w/ these voter rights bs
w/ delegates, superdelegates, and the electoral college, the popular vote essentially becomes meaningless
HOW ABOUT THAT FOR VOTING RIGHTS???

the VOTERS did not accept their votes would be counted. it was only insider party people that understood that.
Obama took his name off the ballot in MI to kiss butt to Iowa and NH. then he campaigned as undecided.

CO: 5 recent polls. Obama beats McCain in 3, loses in 1, 1 tied. McCain beats Clinton in all 5.
IA: 9 recent polls. Obama beats McCain in all 9. McCain beats Clinton in 8 and loses by one whole point in the Research2K poll.
WI: 10 recent polls. Bit closer here: Obama only beats McCain in 8 out of 10, while Clinton scores a whole 2 victories plus one tie.
