Soon to be former Congressman Rodriguez couldn't have chosen a smaller venue for this debate? I was there but forced to sit outside the auditorium.
There was a screen so we could look but not be heard. After the town hall started there was no audio outside. When one man spoke out the police surround him. Things calmed down outside & the audio was established. Congressman voiced his own opinion & paid no attention to "The People" We will be heard in the voting booths!
@TheTeaPartyMovement They pay for gastric lap band for weight loss, welfare babies and lots more but then complain they can't sustain it? What about people with regular insurance? I've done medical billing. I know the rules. Now we're going to fund abortions? I don't want to hear it. We're all going to be voting with smiles this November and they had better be worried about their seats. What a train wreck.
The Food Stamp Program has been renamed to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program and there are about 31.5 million persons on this program representing about 10.3% of the population. So you are saying unless we get govt run healthcare crime will increase as well? The government needs to back off of govt run health care for everyone. Help preserve Freedom and Liberty, get rid of Ciro. Representatives like him cause the middle class to erode due to increasing taxes to working people.
We already have low income housing and food stamps. Why? because its cheaper than dealing with the crime resulting from starving people to death on the streets.
Same reason having a public healthcare option is cheaper than sticking with our current system. Premiums are set to double over the next ten years... as our middle class erodes we can expect millions of more uninsured americans. If you look at the costs of other developed nations its easy to see why a public option works.
The "Naysayers" are the only intelligent people in the group. The supporters of healthcare reform are people who always have their hand out for freebies. Next they will want there mortgage paid for them and free gas and groceries because "others have it and so should we". Here's another politician on his way out.
What a stupid HO with the lemmings in full melt down!

Ciro the Zero brings up 300b in cost overruns in the DoD. So, therefore, running our healthcare is a good idea. Wow. Ciro needs to go. Like, in 2007.
